What an interesting twist - espresso and pho.
The spring rolls may be tops in Murfreesboro. More than excellent. The sauce - oh I have to tell you this, so I asked "Do you have spring Rolls?"
CF: "Yes, we have spring rolls, egg rolls."
Me: "What kind of sauce do you have?"
CF: "We do not have the peanut sauce, the peanut butter type."
Me: 💥❤️❤️❤️ (he had me at 'no peanut sauce.')
OK Coffee Fusion! I accept your challenge! They were great. What can I say - check the photo out!
And service - just as great. I ran out of dipping sauce at no.3, didn't even have to ask. CF: "Do you want some more sauce for the last one?" Note to competitors. How it's done....
Oh, oh oh... I almost forgot. Guess what? Real stainless tableware. 🍴 No plastic sporks!
No Drunken Noodles - only rice. The menu is smaller than some places, but there's still plenty of variety. If you follow me, and to owners, I hate to give perfect scores because, well first people tend to skip perfect scores and we patrons, the least we can do is show enough respect to share something.
So here's my share: the Pad Thai was excellent in flavour and noodles (I hate an under-done or soggy noodle). I ordered a spice level 3 (of 5) and couldn't tell it had any heat. Plus, the noodles were perfect but drown in thin fluid. Now that didn't stop me - Spring Rolls were prologue for the carnage about to happen. But the liquid was so thin and ample - even with my best slurp and splatter control techniques - I spotted my T-shirt. Very good, very tasty but I don't think I have spotted my clothes with Pad Thai.
Do check out the video - watch it steam. Again, if you follow me you know it's a big deal to have hot food served hot and cold stuff served cold! 5 by 5 on that.
Wonderful people, great experience. I recommend...
Read moreSo when is a “coffee shop” much more than a coffee shop? When it’s called CoffeeFusion. This is a small store that offers the flavors of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and America. They serve breakfast, hot & cold expresso drinks, Bubble Tea (I tasted the Peach…was really good), several soups to include Pho, and a long list of Asian cuisine.
My daughter tried the fried rice and chicken egg rolls. I went for the Combo Pho and an order of chicken on a stick. The fried rice and egg-rolls were excellent and the dipping sauce for the egg-rolls had just the right amount of sweetness along with a bit of a kick. The Combo Pho was really good with the meats all cooked well and the noodles still had a bit of a bite to them. Really didn’t need to add anything to the dish…I enjoyed it just as it came. The chicken on a stick was good, but I asked for a side of the sauce for the egg rolls and that made them really delicious.
The folks serving, cooking, and managing the place were so welcoming and nice even spending time at our table talking. Of course it helps when you have a cute little granddaughter to entertain everyone!
I need to get back here and try the Duck Soup, Banh Mi sandwiches, and their 3-Flavored fish. I might even have a cup...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place! I love coffee and I love Thai. I was disappointed in both. The macchiato I ordered tasted close to instant coffee and Coco mixed. I expect Starbucks quality when I'm paying Starbuck's prices for drinks. I ordered the shrimp lo mein. This is a hard dish to make taste bad and I usually enjoy this everywhere. It tasted nothing like I expected. There was 5 PCs of shrimp maybe and the noodle and veggies were so bland! The container my food was in had not been closed all the way and turns out it couldn't. The container looked as if it had been microwaved 10 times before and was badly warped and the bottom looked just like microwaved styrofoam. I have worked in a kitchen and new food containers ARE NOT disfigured like this was. I called and asked why the container looked like this and I was told they don't microwave food. So was it reused? SOMETHING happened! I was offered a redo but honestly I was so put off by the presentation of my original order that I was afraid to see what a FREE meal looked like. Will not be visiting this place again. I love supporting small businesses, but there is no excuse for...
