Stopped in here with a friend and WOW. Everything we had was so delicious. It was an incredibly satisfying meal at a very affordable price. We left so satisfied!
We tried a little bit of everything, as is our custom: Pearl pork meatballs - these were so interesting and delicious. There's a rice on the outside that adds a texture difference. The flavor is good, but we added a little of the chili oil that's on the table. That made them perfect!
Takoyaki - some of the best takoyaki I've had in a very long time. Actual textural differences between the crisp outside, creamy inside, and chunks of octopus. I also enjoy that they put only a little sauce on top. I've unfortunately had it drowned in sauce too many times. Not here! Perfect.
Shrimp rice noodle roll - we ordered these because we'd seen a picture online. I'd describe them as perfect pockets of shrimp with a delicious sauce. The dish has a delicate taste and a great texture.
Grilled squid skewers - the right amount of chewy with this amazing sauce we honestly want to put on most meats. We're not 100% sure what the sauce was, but I could've eaten a few more skewers (and would have been too full but still very happy).
Golden hot and sour beef rice noodles - this is described as spicy, and it was the perfect heat for us. They have a spicier version that we might try later, but this had a perfect balance of hot and sour. And it was the perfect night for it. We also appreciated the instructions printed on the menu! We're not afraid to ask, but we didn't have to!
The whole meal was $45 before tip. That's 1 entree and 4 appetizers, my friends. We left full and very satisfied. I'd call that pretty ridiculously affordable.

Read moreThis place has an interesting concept of hot pot with lots of dim sum options. The idea of a convenient hot pot with cooking your own noodles should be a fun delicious experience but this place had poor execution. The server took our order and disappeared on us they did not come back the entire time and waited other tables so it was just chaotic and confusing.
30 minute wait on our dim sum without any sight of our server as well as no one coming to check on the table. We had to flag the other servers down to make sure the order wasn't lost. The dim sum was mid at best. Chicken feet wasn't tender, soup dumplings were cold, and other items lacked flavor. After finishing our dim sum we still had to wait another 30 minutes for the main noodle dishes and this was after flagging down another server. The main entree I got was the tomato hot pot with sliced beef. Although we waited almost an hour the soup was hot coming out and you add the meats and side dishes in. Like I mentioned earlier great ideas but poor execution. The broth was flavorful and noodles works well but the bowl gets cold quick.
Overall this place has a lot to improve upon maybe it's still growing pains as a new restaurant but one thing that needs to be consistent is the food and service. I think it has potential but I'd recommend anyone that wants to go here to wait a couple months to see if it...
Read moreThis place was really good. I didn't know what to expect when I found this place online. The description of the concept and what was included in the meal was nowhere to be found. However, I am super happy to have visited this restaurant.
So, in essence, it is a build your own ramen bowl experience. But instead of ramen noodles, it is rice noodles. Not the thin ones found in mei fun, but rice noodles with a ramen noodle thickness. They bring out a screaming hot bowl of broth where you combine your main protein, a diverse selection of sides, and noodles. After you let all that "simmer" in the bowl for about 10 seconds, it is ready to consume.
The broth ranges from a tasty mild to a bold spicy (nothing insane like Carolina Reaper hot, but closer to somewhere between Habanero and Ghost). The sides ingredients range from corn kernels to quail egg to lettuce and several others. All of it delicious.
My daughter and I also tried the pork Bao buns (super delicious) and spicy jellyfish (good, but not my favorite of the night).
The staff were super friendly (maybe the owners?) and the esthetics were great. This place is a little hard to find but well worth the visit.
