I gave it 1 star because of the security detail. I was asked to leave and not one of the security workers working that night could tell me why. All they could tell me is you're not band, and you can come back tomorrow and I'm like what did I do in the first place. So after every person working security that night escorted me out, I'm standing at my car talking to a friend and I'm very frustrated because I wasn't given a reason why I was removed. In my 41 years of life I have never been kicked out of any establishment and it was frustrating and embarrassing.. So as I talk to my friend outside at my car security comes out again asking me to leave the premises. At this point I am truly feeling picked on. I'm outside you have done your job. So while I'm talking to the security lady they sent to ask me to leave the premise this random guy runs up to my car, no shirt on and starts yelling explisits at me and my friend. My friend and I look at one another like what is really going on. Security tells him to back off and tells us he's drunk and they kicked him out as well, don't mind him, so this guy goes to his car puts a shirt on and goes back inside the bar and I'm like, ya'll need to be worried about him. All this happened pretty quickly, so I'm still talking to the security lady they sent outside and amazingly im very calm but I'm confused and scared. At this point another security guy flanks around my car in order to sneak up behind me and I see him. Now I'm mad, I was trying to get the security lady to understand my point of veiw but i cut off the conversation we were having and ask where do I need to stand to be off your property so you guy will just leave me alone. My belief is that security at this establishment has an agenda and I wouldn't recommend going. If you do go don't be surprised if you are a subject of harrassment. The security here escalates situations they don't resolve them..

I have a very limited diet but at most places I can tweek things to accommodate. Fast food not being an option anymore unless I want to be sick. I go in after work to pace a Togo order. I normally get ok service from the bartender but tonight. She couldn’t comprehend I’d like the garlic sauce you offer instead of regular pizza sauce so she placed the ordered and cheesy bread and added the toppings which made me pay $11 for a personal size “pizza” then after about 45-an hour and the second time I checked on my order. I was finally just handed my order and walked off..the box ice cold..pizza ice cold. I say something to the what I’m assuming was the manager in a buc-ees hoodie, she looked confused as to why I would be upset. I said at this point I’d just like a refund. She never apologized or anything. Just voided the or and handed me the receipt. I turned off and walked out. I was parked at the front door so I sat in my car trying to find somewhere besides Waffle House to eat and she comes out to smoke a cigarette and discuss me being the problem and not understanding with the dj or karaoke host. So I wasn’t able to find anywhere beside Waffle House to eat and I’m also out my tip, that I did still tip even though from the first word the bartender was rude. And trust me I know one customer doesn’t really make a difference but I DID come at least twice a week for Togo order and occasionally on Mondays sit in and organize my week. April 2017 Tonight was My first visit to MJs & I LOVED IT! The Food was Hot, Fresh & Delicious!! I had Catfish, Curly fries, Slaw & Hush Puppies. The Bartender (Angel) was Nice & Very explanatory about the times Karaoke started, Specials that were on the menu & Welcomed me to MJs as if I was Family & this was my first time ever visiting the place. Our Old Karaoke guy (Dennis maybe) stayed busy from 8pm-12 & had a Very Good KJ & has a Great Sound System!!! Straight Up Karaoke🎤💯🇺🇸 5/3/17 & 5/9/17 Ive visited MJs again twice & had a great time but for some reason the Bartenders are Snappy, Quick & Do not have very good SOCIAL SKILLS AT ALL! Why is That? Are they College kids, Inexperienced or is it because Im a woman? Just asking!🐅 Otherwise MJs is a Great place to hang out, meet new people & have fun! 5/17/17 Very Busy Wednesday night & Karaoke wasnt like Karaoke has always been on Wednesday!! Too many music videos & not enough people called up to sing Karaoke. Not Good!! GET OUR OLD KJ BACK HERE!!!!! This senior citizen is only a babysitter for the drunks.
