The food’s good, but the service, especially the to-go service, is absolutely terrible. We’re in a cycle where we order from here every so often, end up missing enough food that we swear it off for months, try again and find we’re routinely missing food— sometimes entire entrees. Half the time we notice it while we check the food before we leave, but sometimes grandma can’t juggle everything just trying to get out the door. It wouldn’t be such a big deal to just never go back but there’s few options open on this side of town on Sunday, that God help you if you want something for a football day, I guess.
Today we were missing all sauces for the wings, neither of two orders of wedges had their sauces, there were no condiments on the burgers. Like, it’s almost like it’s on purpose, to miss that much. The girl up front told grandma that she checked it, and there was a checklist in the order from Caleb, so grandma took their word for it. BIG SWING AND A MISS THERE. For what they’re charging, at least give us complete orders.
And then you might call and complain, but what’s that do? This place is constantly rotating high school kids through the staff, nobody’s there for more than a couple months anyway, so why actually try to do the job correctly?
ANYWAY. Go here if you feel like getting 80% of what you pay for, I guess. Maybe we’ll try again in another four months, once the whole staff has turned...
Read moreOur first time eating at Toot's. I ordered the House Salad with no bacon, Dill Pickles, and sweet tea with a lemon. She ordered Onion Rings, Buffalo Tenders with hot sauce, Cheese Sticks, and an Arnold Palmer to drink. For dessert we had a cheesecake with chocolate, strawberry, and caramel for the sauce. Her favorite most liked to least out of the whole meal was the dessert, beverage, pickles, and the remaining of her order was about the same. My most favorite out of the whole meal for my side of the order was the dessert, beverage, salad, and pickles. The pickles seemed to have too much salt on them for our taste. The onion rings had no seasoning (in my personal opinion I feel Zaxby's onion rings taste far better). Of course these were just regular onion rings, but still. Despite the cheescake being our most liked of the meal it had too much sauce on it for our taste. Our waiter was polite, patient, and informed as he told us about their Happy Hour deal that they had going on from 8pm-10pm. They had a clean restroom and tables. All in all a decent experience. We might...
Read moreCute shorts but the servers cannot add and have no clue as to learn basic math skills, such as addition. We had five beers @ $1.25 a piece during the football game on 01-14-2012. We were charged for 6 when we called it to their attention that we only had 5 and were charged for 6, She said she would talk to the manager. The bill should be $6.25 not $7.50 She came back and had charged us yet another $1.25 So, that was 7 for the price of 5. So, we paid $8.75 for $6.25 worth of drinks. Maybe she was afraid the manager would scold her for making the mistake. She just couldn't figure it out we explained it to her 5 X 1.25 = $6.25 and she was like a chicken in tall weeds. She was very Confused could not figure it out low test scores I guess. Maybe they should hire people over 20 years old and not worry what the shorts look like on em but, first make sure they can add the bill properly ..watch your ticket they will overcharge you they did us even after we brought it to their attention. Doubt we'll be back at that Toot's maybe the one on Broad Street they seem a little...
