Panda Express — Restaurant in Murray

I have never had a bad experience at this Panda Express. The employees are always so well put-together and greet us as we walk in the door. They are very patient as we decide what we want. I ordered chow mein, orange chicken, and sweet-fire chicken. The chow mein was delicious and I could tell that it was a fresh batch. The employee gave me a ton of orange chicken in my to-go box (I didn't think it was possible to have too much orange chicken!) and the sweet-fire chicken was very fresh and not overcooked. That's something that I appreciated, that they didn't overcook the entrees so they weren't tough and hard to chew. The whole food ordering process from walking in the door to check-out took less than 3 minutes! The employee was fast but not rushed, so bonus for him. The dining area is exceptionally clean. I watched people come in who had ordered online and they always had the food ready for them. Those customers were in and out within 2 minutes. Service is regularly sub-par. Had an employee check who I was there for because I ordered online and got there a little before my window (by design, I don't mind waiting a little bit for fresh food). I thought he was doing me a favor but the guy dished out my food, set it on the island with no heat source or anything I could see, and helps a group of people well past my pick up window. I assumed they were waiting on one of my entrées, but it was completely ready. He could have just handed it to me. Instead let's have it cool down for 10 minutes...great. I hate being the guy who gets after fast food employees, but dang maybe try not to actively ruin my food. Gave 2 stars because at least he was generous with the teriyaki sauce. Covid measures make it impossible to communicate with the employees. My husband and I were having a late start to dinner so we ordered take out from this location. When we got home I tried the orange chicken and it was rancid! It tasted like it had been soaking in vinegar and then they overcooked it and forgot to put the rest of the ingredients in it for the sauce. It just tasted like a crunchy vinegar rock. Absolutely repulsing. I called the store and very kindly asked if I could bring it back in and told them the issue and they were just annoyed on the phone. I ended up going into the store to get new chicken and it tasted the same. Not only did they serve gross chicken again, but it was served with so much attitude . The workers acted like they didn’t believe me and I tried to get them to taste what they were serving people, to which they declined.
