we usually like this subway quite a bit. we have gone weekly for years and often tip the staff anywhere between $10-$100 EACH. today we left leaving no tip- because this was the worst service we have ever encountered at any food/retail place ever. the three individuals working today approximately at 2:20pm were ok i guess, until we went to pay. we had $35 worth of items, and only had a $50 bill to pay. (even planning to tip them each a $50 bill today) the lady running the register was extremely rude and refused our money claiming it was subways policy. confused we asked why that was, considering that we go to subway, and to this exact location sometimes multiple times a week and it had never been an issue before (also noting we have over 15 years food experience each, one of us even managing a subway in a different location and that its never been policy) she didnt provide an answer other than the regional manager would fire her?? (and if thats true, thats absolutely ridiculous) we asked her to take off the chips, cookies, and drinks, so that we could pay in smaller bills AND SHE REFUSED TO DO SO and insisted we go to the coffee shop next door to buy a coffee that we didnt want, so that we could have change to pay for all of it. its ridiculous that instead of taking our money, she demanded we go to another business and spend money to buy a marked up bag of chips. we told her that was stupid. to just take off the chips so we could pay with smaller bills. thats when another staff jumped in screaming about how we wanted them to get robbed. like no, we just wanted you to take off the chips and drinks so that we could pay in smaller bills due to their weird made-up policy. they refused to do so, and thankfully the customer behind us, who was in a rush, paid for our stupid overpriced chips that the woman running the register refused to take off. we also asked to speak to a manager, and how to contact one, and they directed us to a car outside saying that she was the regional manager---- spoiler alert, we talked to her and she wasnt. they really wanted us to harrass a random coffee shop customer over THEIR bad business practices. id encourage whoever's in charge to check out the audio/visual tapes for 6/14/21 around 2:20pm to see the altercation and how ridiculous this whole situation was. we were so frustrated, even after laughing with the customer who paid for our food over the utter stupidity, that we ended up throwing the food away. we wont be back again.
edit to add that we never even got our 9 cookies they charged us for- so this whole situation could have been entirely avoided IF THE LADY RUNNING THE REGISTER JUST CHARGED US CORRECTLY!!! considering all we wanted was for them to take off the extra so we could pay with smaller bills. and that the guy behind us that covered the cost of the extras (as we only had $30 in smaller bills,) ended up getting charged extra for no reason lol....
Read moreDon't order through the subway app unless you want things you didn't order. We placed an order through the app and got the completely wrong sandwich due to product being out. Instead of calling us and informing they made a decision on our behalf and sent us a really gross looking sandwich. Called the store we were told we placed the order in door dash (we did not) and they couldn't do anything about it. My husband called the store to speak with the manager about it and she was rude on the phone my husband then went to the store with the messed up sandwich and this lady was so rude and so quick to pass the blame again onto door dash who again we placed the order on the subway app instead of saying ok were sorry it was passing the responsibility to another and then proceeded to throw attitude and be disrespectful be cautious on this store they clearly are rude and don't know how to handle their own...
Read moreI go to subway to get fresh food. This subway was disgusting! I was there at 2pm and all the vegetables were at the bottom of the containers and looked and tasted wilted. A woman named Lisa was very rude and put out when I asked her to get me some fresh guacamole as opposed to the crap she was scrapping out of the bottom of the pan. She glared at me and came back with the new stuff but I know she gave me the old scoop because it looked and tasted old. I paid an extra 75 cents for the crap. Realized I paid $5.08 for a one egg tiny bit of old wilted vegetables and crap avocado at a place I had hoped to give me something clean and fresh. I should have just left without the sandwich but didn't have time to go somewhere else. Decided that I could spend a dollar more and go to Cafe Rio where I will definitely get lots of clean fresh vegetables and good service....
