The employee's at this location seem to have maturity issues and trouble maintaining their responsibilities adequately.
Went here to pick up a mobile order for Doordash. I was told it was being worked on. Okay, cool, no problem. My app said it was to be picked up within 3 minutes and though this is usually pretty accurate, I know there is a glitch in the system sometimes where the store doesn't recieve the ticket right away. However, the ticket was already printed out and on the line. I've managed a sandwich shop and other restaurants similar, and we usually always get the ticket printed out long before the Dasher comes to pick it up.
I ended up waiting 20 minutes before asking them if the order was ready yet, even though I knew it wasn't. They continue to serve walk-in guests and forget that people who do mobile orders exist. All of a sudden, they said it was being worked on now, and in a few more minutes, they had it ready. Imagine that.
I asked why it took so long and was told its because it was a hot sub, and they are backed up. Okay, I understand the struggle, but as a former manager at a similar place with half the staff and double the orders, I know that it definitely does not take as long as they claimed to make this order. The manager on duty was an 18 y/o kid with no life experience or leadership qualities and could not admit that they had simply forgotten about the order.
Summary: GM should appoint their leadership positions to workers with respectable features and quality work ethic. Either that or work with these guys more frequently and mentor them on how to be a more responsible adult and take responsibility for their actions.
(Note to owner, I'll delete this bad review upon your reply. I would email you directly if I had the contact info. Just wanted to make you aware of the issue of how your workers treat mobile order guests and make excuses when they are in the wrong. Thank you...
Read moreThe sandwiches are as always at Jersey Mike's great. My family loves eating there and we were stopping through on our way home with my wife and 3 kids. The girl who took our order was really rushing us.. and we knew pretty much exactly what we wanted. When my wife went to say it would be lettuce only on my kids wrap she cut her off and said ok we will do that over there I just need your orders (with a bit of an attitude). So we finished our order, my wife does not like blue cheese and was getting a buffalo chicken wrap so she waited as she had already been cut off trying to customize the order. They finished the kids and my orders and my wife noticed the other sandwich make was making hers by the grill. By this time it was already too late.. we were in a hurry and my wife was being polite and said it was fine. She is nicer than I am.. but anyways. The blonde skinny girl working has quite the attitude. I could understand being rushed a little if it was packed but at the time of ordering we were the only people on the Restraunt. I've been to a lot of Jersey Mike's locations and this was the only.time I've had a negative experience. The 2 stars are only because the other girl working was nice and the...
Read moreI would have given this place 5 stars but the customer service was only worth 3 stars. It seems like customer service takes a back seat to speed. There was no one in line but they won't slow down and actually listen to you. I showed them my $2 coupon when I came in and then forgot to present it when paying so I told them afterwards and they said "next time show us at the register". The correct thing to do would have been to credit me the $2 coupon. Also, asked them for one line of mustard on my bread the first young lady made the sandwich correctly but the second young lady helping put three lines of mustard. Maybe I'm asking too much it seems that my generation would rather have good customer service than anything else. I have noticed that in some Jersey Mike's restaurant they are too focused on making your sandwich so fast that they sometimes don't listen. The only thing they ask you is if you want it Mike's way. Not everyone likes the same thing. Nevertheless, the food is always...
