My brother tried to order a sausage mcgriddle in the drive-thru. The first window employee repeated the order back to him too fast for him to catch. It wasn't until he got up to the second window to receive his food that he realized they got his order wrong. The receipt said English McMuffin. He'd been reassured by the employees that his incorrect order had been fixed, but the bag still contained an English McMuffin instead of a Mcgriddle. When he tried to go back through to receive what he ordered, an older female brunette employee accused him of trying to steal. She claimed a McGriddle is what she gave him. In order to prove he wasn't lying, she demanded that he give her the incorrect order in exchange for his McGriddle, which I'm pretty sure violates several health codes that were put in place after the start of the pandemic. I've worked in both the hospitality industry and food service. No matter your line of work, the client always comes first. My brother should not have had to endure such treatment at an establishment that prioritizes customer service. I understand mixups happen and it was an honest mistake. But the events that followed afterward were outrageous and...
Read more22 October 2025 around 3:30PM I normally focus on the positive when leaving reviews, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and humiliated. When I pulled up to the first window to pay for my order, I had a brief issue getting my Apple Pay to work. Instead of being patient, the woman taking payments repeatedly moved the device back and forth so I couldn’t tap my phone. When I finally completed the payment and asked for my receipt, she turned away and ignored me, even though her window was open and she could clearly hear me.
When I drove to the next window to get my food, the car in front of me hadn’t moved yet, so I couldn’t pull forward. The same employee leaned out of her window and yelled at me to scoot up. I explained that I couldn’t, but she insisted there was room and raised her voice again. She then turned to the customer behind me, laughed, and talked about me, which was extremely embarrassing.
I’ve never been treated this way at any business before. I truly hope this situation is addressed, as no customer should ever be made to feel humiliated for simply trying to complete a purchase. I could not get out of that drive thru line...
Read moreI work customer service, I understand it is hard. But the workers here SUCK. Had trouble with their ordering station and it wouldn't print my receipt or tell me my number after I paid, went up to the front to ask the teenage girl for help and she rolled her eyes. Her manager then decided to scream at her. She might've been rude but the manager did not have to humiliate her. Working customer service sucks and especially when it is busy, but it is your JOB. When I got my order she slammed it down and stared at me, not calling my number. I went to grab it said thank you and she rolled her eyes and Stormed away. My friend orders to dine in and the same lady brought her food to the table and slammed it down, we said thank you and she glared at us and walked away. Just because your manager yelled at you, you do not have to take it out on people who were being patient and kind. Also I understand this is literally just McDonald's so it isn't that deep,...
