Come in to Muskegon for a couple days at the beach and Nipote's was recommended by all travel sites and the girls at our hotel . It a smaller place so be sure to make a reservation if you want to get it. The atmosphere is excellent as well as the service . The only complaint was the music coming from the kitchen area was off-putting for the ambience of the restaurant. As far as the food goes it is a 4 out of 5. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer and was average at best. The tomatoes were poorly cut and this shows a lack of attention to detail and a poor first impression. Take the extra 45 seconds and cut the tomatoes properly or even better dice them so they spread on the toast properly . My wife ordered Salmon Florentine which was excellent . Our son has the homemade Mac and Cheese which came in a creamy parm sauce that is simply excellent. I had the Chicken Parm and unfortunately it was sub par at best . The chicken tasted like a frozen patty and the pasta was dry . For dessert we had the Tiramisu and a Cannoli both were excellent. The Tiramisu is probably the best I have ever eaten . We each had ice tea and we're surprise as the low price point of only $2 per drink . Over all we and an appetizer, 2 dinner and one kids meal with 3 drinks and 2 desserts and our bill was only $70 . Portions are a bit on the smaller side but we would definitely come back if we are in the area again

The first thing we noticed were the owner's children working in the kitchen and dining room. This is a family operation that has love as a key ingredient. Everything we ordered from the bruschetta to the cannoli was fresh and flavorful. My wife had the chicken cacciatore, which was almost as good as her mother's, high praise. I ordered a Tuscan salad, adding salmon. I was delighted that the salmon was served on the side, not on the salad. My wine, a Montepulciano from Abruzzo paired well with the salad. An Italian meal is not complete without cannoli. Susan noted the empty shells when we walked in and anticipated freshly filled ones. Together with our daughter, we each ordered different toppings, pistachios, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. I highly recommend Nipote's Italian Kitchen.

A great dinning experience, you would never guess it was made out of a few shipping containers, this quaint place has a great atmosphere. The menu is small but packed with alot of flavors for everyone which adds to the authentic Italian experience. I had the salmon contai and mushrooms ravioli. The sauce was full of creamy delight while it did not drowned out the raviolis which had a great texture and flavor that enhanced my palate. Our meal left us satisfied and not overly stuffed and there was room to try the cannoli. So I " left the gun and took the cannoli" the pastrie shell had a nice cinnamon flavor that enriched the filling, at the end of the night I could have been "Sleeping with the Fishes" and been very happy. Nipote is worth an evening out.

This is one of the best restaurants in Muskegon! It has a quiet and cozy atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The smaller setting makes for both a fun meal with friends, and a relaxed fine dining experience. We decided to order the classics. We started with the bruschetta, with tomatoes so fresh you'd think they were straight from the vine to the table! Again, deciding on a couple of Italian staples, we went with the Spaghetti w/ Meatballs and the Shrimp Scampi! All of it was amazing! The meatballs were big, juicy and cooked to perfection. The sauce was a perfect consistency. Flavor was a spot on mix of savory, with just the right amount of that sweet tomato tang! The noodles were perfectly cooked, with sauce sticking to them like it should! Served with a slice of grilled bread. Highly recommended

The Shrimp Scampi, like the Spag and Balls, was cooked perfectly. Tender shrimp cooked the way they're supposed to be cooked (which is not very long 😂😁) with a light reduction, sauteed with a tasty blend of garden fresh veggies, some citrus components, and I'm guessing a type of white wine, maybe Chablis? Served with a slice of grilled bread. It was a very tasty dish and highly recommended.

Both entrees were perfectly portioned, so we weren't over stuffed, and not left begging for more! 😂🤣 As good as the food is at Nipotes, it is fairly priced! I'll definitely be back!

Ya' done good, Church! REAL good! Keep up the...

I am Very Happy with the taste of Italian food… I have to say Im going to be a lifelong Family Friend!!! I have a knack for Marvelous things that are not easy to create and I have a lot wlove for Italian foods & the way they are in the kitchen and culture !!! I am throwing this out there because I 100% am being honest with myself and you! My opinion is that you’re going to get; better than Olive Garden or the Same depends on what you eat … But I have to imagine that since I have never been to Italy and I don’t know what 100% Good Italian Food Restaurants or maybe a Mother/Grandmothers cooking would taste like!!! So I am going with my full Stomach , Experience and The empty plates that I left behind !!! The fact that I am already looking forward to returning and using my inner Godfather intuition and not to mention ,that I find out that a lifelong friend of the owners of the fine little Italian family Restaurant …. I’m going with 4stars on Google but a 5* in the name of Authenticity in an around Muskegon it’s as it close to the same an you will not be disappointed ….I WILL GUARANTEE YOU THAT if not just Fogettt About it !!! in my, Robert De Niro Voice - after you leave you’ll be Family and a Friend of theirs! haha… all BS aside I Highly Recommend &wish them Good Luck with the Business that Shawn and Husband have created.. I think you are on your way to Cicero Avenue. Definitely save me a table for next time....
