Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Mustang

I absolutely love Chili’s and unfortunately since we had to pay with our waitress last night and not the kiosk we were unable to complete a survey within the restaurant. Last night we gave the Mustang location a 2nd chance, the last time we were here our appetizer and main dinner was served backwards, when ordering last night we advised our waitress of this and asked to have pour appetizer for about 10 minutes then our main course. We asked for additional salsa it never came, our appetizer came out, and the manager was right behind setting our main course down. We advised the manager we had already explained this to the waitress and he said the appetizer line was extremely behind, our appetizer was chips and trio dip. He took our main course back and within another minute or two someone else was brining it back. Before 7 o’clock on a Friday night this location had ran out of mashed potatoes and lemonade! I understand the establishment was busy, I give grace and understanding, I’m leaving several other things out because the main point is we would just like to eat our appetizer before our main course gets cold. We were not asking for any kind of discount and had to ask 3 times for our check in which they wouldn’t put on the kiosk that we’ve paid with for years in the past. Started off bumpy with getting our drink order wrong. No big deal, it happens.

Took over an hour to get our food and they blamed it on the ribs. The ribs were terrible. Hard as jerky and could not finish them. Manager asked what she could do, if we would like another order. We gave her a resounding no, why, wait another hour for inedible meat?

We asked for more bbq sauce twice, it never arrived.

Do not get the ribs!

I ordered the 3 for me. Salsa was red water and I upgraded to the grilled queso. The delivery crew asked if it was alright and I asked about the grilled queso. She just smiled and left. The grilled queso did not arrive until we asked the waitress about it of which we had to hunt her down. She was more busy with talking to friends or family up front at the time. The grilled queso arrived 10 minutes later and was room temperature.

My burger was room temperature.

The enchilada soup came out 15 minutes prior to the other two orders.

Waitress was horrible and the manager seemed to care less.

Manger, "Seems there's nothing I can do." And left.

We will not be back. Wasted $50...

This was mine and my family’s first time at chilis in years.

Service: Derrick was exceptional. My family can be quite challenging at times, but he maintained a great attitude and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and everyone was taken care of. Derrick managed to make us feel valued and well taken care of. His efforts did not go unnoticed and made our experience much more enjoyable.

Atmosphere: It was uncomfortably hot inside the building. Despite being brand new with a modern air conditioning system, the temperature was far from ideal. The excessive heat made it difficult to fully enjoy our meal.

Food: Our server Derrick recommended the chips and queso, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. My parents each ordered a burger, and they were both impressed. My dad described his as “the best hamburger” he’s ever had, eating it a 10/10 while my mom rated hers an 8/10. My fiancé chose the chicken crispers with a side of mushrooms, and he loved it, giving it a 9/10. I had the Triple Dipper as my entree, and it was really good.
