We were seated fairly quick, good start. After reading the menu and deciding what we wanted, we waited. After about 15 minutes we still had not been offered a beverage, at which point I started to look for the coffee pots myself. This lovely waitress, upon seeing me eyeballing the coffee pot asked us if we had placed an order for our drinks. I took a look at the table incase there was something that i miss. Nope, still no water or coffee. I asked the young lady for 2 coffees and 2 waters. After a few minutes she returned with the coffee and no water. I waited several more minutes, and seeing the waitress coming towards us with 2 glasses of water, I get excited and went to help her with the glasses, as she skirts oast my table to another waiting on their water. I reread the menu in its entirety, had a conversation with my brother in law, messangered my little brother, answered a few texts, responded to a few more posts, took a couple of quizzes, and read the menu one more time, when, at this time, the waitress finally arrived to take our order. It's IHOP so naturally I order pancakes, I mean they are known for their pancakes, right? While waiting, the tiny carafe the coffee came in is empty after 2 1/2 cups of coffee, when I finally get the waitress to bring us more coffee, she apologies and says in earnest, "We are just so busy right now." I look in front of me were there are 3 booths empty, to the side were another table is empty, I look behind me where I was expecting to see a group of deaf people signing to each other because it was the quietest "busy" I ever heard, just to see several more empty tables. My brother in law says "You think this is bad, wait till the crowd gets here." And at last!!! Breakfast has arrived!!! Yay!! Well a yay? The eggs are barely warm, the bacon is cold, there is only half the hash browns they usually serve, but oh well, I'm there for the pancakes anyways. Well now the pancakes, IHOPs famous pancakes, you already know what's coming, but I'm gonna tell you anyways. I go to cut into the pancakes with a fork, but found my efforts to no avail. I take my knife to them and finally cut through the much desired pancakes, I bite into it and chew, and chew, and chew, this feeling in my mouth was like that of sandpaper, and the cakes themselves were warm and cold at the same time. I assessed my day ahead and decided that I wouldn't send it back, that I would go ahead and eat what I had. I had to go take a blood test at the doctors office, we were 30 minutes away, it was now 11:30ish and the office closed at 6. I just...
Read moreETA 5/13/23: We decided to give this location another try on Mother’s Day since it had been quite some time since we gave up on them. We regretted it after waiting 30 minutes to even be able to drink and order food but there were only 5 tables of people and at least 3 servers we could see. When ordering drinks, we requested creamer with our coffee. The drinks were brought out with no creamer or straws for the kids drinks. It took over 20 minutes, requesting 2 times, leaning into the kitchen to ask for help, and standing to leave before we received straws and the wrong creamer. Once we poured our coffee, we realized we were given enough lukewarm coffee to pour 1 1/2 cups. The order came out incorrectly for one and pancakes were missing from another. It took another 10 minutes to get the pancakes. To top it off, as usual, the kids meals were not “free” until we had to finally get the servers attention to fix it. Then she took our receipt and disposed of it after we paid and said she couldn’t reprint it so I lost out on the reward points. Needless to say, this all ruined my Mother’s Day dinner. We made the mistake of giving them another chance. Never again. Highly recommend driving to another location.
As a longtime IHOP regular that has gone too often to be healthy, I will not be going to this IHOP location anymore due to the management. Check your receipts because EVERY time you have to ask for the kids eat free deal. Management has required the servers to not give that discount unless the guest asks specifically for it. In the nearly decade of bringing our kids multiple times per month to IHOP, this is the only location that has ever done this. Not only is their food and service subpar compared to other locations but having to ask for a standard advertised deal is tacky to...
Read moreWorst service ever! Our appetizer came out WITH our food instead of before. The chicken fingers were overcooked and it was missing the dipping sauces. Manager had to bring us eating utensils after the waitress told us she would bring them when she seated us. I ordered the cali garlic butter burger and it tasted freezer burned and there was no garlic butter spread on it. We had to ask two other waitresses to send our waitress to the table because she never came to check on us. When she finally came to our table we sent the burger back and ordered a BLT instead. It came out long after my husband was done eating. During this time of waiting my tea needed to be refilled. We asked again for the waitress, she came to the table but never brought my refill. I had to ask the manager for another tea when he brought my sandwich. He then brought me the wrong drink. I had to summon the waitress again and ask that a correct drink be brought (and to not forget me this time). They only comped the burger and then charged me for the sandwhich instead - that is HORRIBLE cuatomer service all around. We will never visit again and will make sure everyone knows about...
