I tend to order things as is, but my friend likes to super customize she will add on and take off until her food and drinks are a new creation. Most places handle that with ease... this mcdonalds is our local one that she visits often and she orders the same concoction each time at this same mcdonalds, and they cant handle it. We always have to repeat our order at the menu 3-4 times while they struggle, then once at final window we either get pulled forward and wait 20-40 min while they clean the coffee machine, or its made wrong. I honestly thought it was her and her pickiness causing a struggle until we started branching out and testing other mcdonalds. I will tell you we have been all over oklahoma on mini road trips from mt scott to tulsa to meeker to altus even into texas a few times and every single one of those mcdonalds was able to handle her order the first time, without repitition, without waiting for 40 minutes, and it not only came out right but her cups werent covered in coffee drips and caramel drizzle. My last visit a few weeks ago I spent over 45 min in the drive thru for 1 caramel iced coffee with 1 shot of espresso, I had to call the store to ask why I was pulled forward and waited for 45 min for 1 coffee drink and the manager kept cutting me off, she didnt care, she wanted to throw free food at the problem but nobody even ever took my name or info to follow up on that minimum effort. Its like they dont care because they own so many in the area that even if you go to the next town over they are still getting your money. So I stopped going to mcdonalds in my area at all, if I’m out in another area of oklahoma or another state I’ll enjoy some mcDs but not the mustang/yukon stores anymore they have gotten too lazy and mess stuff up too often then get mad that you want what you paid for instead of what they are offering you. If I ask for espresso and you charge me for espresso in my drink I want it in my drink, if I ask for extra onions and extra cheese and you charge me for that I dont want a burger with no onions and no cheese.. this is just food service common sense 101 and they...
Read moreI’ve been using the McDonald’s app on various iOS devices for years, and it has consistently caused me problems. No matter the device, account, or location, the app is riddled with issues. For instance, if you pull up a deal at a physical location and then close and reopen the app, it often shows that the deal has been used, even though no purchase was made. This has happened repeatedly over the years, and the managers at the locations never seem to care. They always seem frustrated when I bring up app issues, which I understand, but something needs to be done. I’ve lost a lot of money by just taking the loss and being understanding with the store staff. Perhaps my biggest mistake was choosing McDonald’s as my go-to for good quality, fast food at decent prices. Post-pandemic, their prices have increased significantly, with higher margins, making it less appealing. I love the deals, but I hate the app. I respect and fall for the marketing, but I can’t stand the lack of customer service. Why is it so frowned upon for a store to give a discount on a large fry if there’s an issue? Chick-fil-A does it right, so why...
Read morePlaced an order on the mobile app using points to get something for free. I ordered my sandwich in a very specific way, as I always do. Somewhere between the customization screen and the checkout screen my sandwich was wrong. I noticed it right away and informed the employee at the 1st window. He told me "sorry it's a mobile order we can't do anything" and closed the window. He could have at least tried to notify the cooking staff to fix it but didn't even bother. So I then wasted points to get the sandwich only to have to reorder the sandwich in the app and actually pay for it. When I went back through the second time to pay for it, the same individual at the first window was too busy dabbing up his co-workers to even come to the window then handed me my receipt and I moved on. I then get to the second window to be told. "Sorry we're making it fresh. Pulled to the first drive-thru reserve spot" so what was the first sandwich not made fresh even remotely? Seems like a stupid policy to force someone to waste points for an accident with nothing other than "sorry" and a...
