September 2022 we are back to normal MB. Year after year and time after time great food quickly. Still a 5 ⭐ place.
April 2022 things are still the same, good food and fast service.
We were looking for a quick meal instead of cooking or doing a long sit down dinner and decided on China Dragon a small mostly take out Chinese Restaurant in a strip mall. What a pleasure. Look, the place is nothing fancy with 5 tables and folks picking up take out. We looked at the menu and decided to eat in. I ordered the combination meal C14 Jumbo Shrimp with Mixed Chinese Veg, Pork Fried Rice and Egg Roll $9.95. Bill had C27 General Tso's Chicken $10.50 with Pork Fried Rice and Egg Roll plus a small Hot & Sour soup to go. Food was out in less than 10 minutes from the very busy kitchen. Everything was fantastic!! Another plus is this is one of the few places that has "Real Hot Chinese Mustard!" This is now our official Go To Chinese Restaurant when the 2 of us eat in or out. They have a full menu with over 100 choices, health food section plus a nice smaller size 36 choices lunch selection. They do deliver but need to check if they come to your place in Myrtle Beach. Enjoy as we sure did and even brought...
Read moreWe ordered from this place one night during vacation. Just as Jennifer mentioned in her review, we also found this place from a Google search while looking for Chinese food.
I ordered the food for pickup via phone, and like any good Chinese restaurant, it was ready in 10 minutes :) I ordered Kung-Pao-Chicken, my benchmark, extra-hot, and with a couple of other meals. The food was excellent. It was the traditional American-Chinese style and was extremely tasty. The order was just as I asked for --extra hot, and with a side of hot-sauce just in case. The meal had a nice rich sauce and plenty of it. If you're not into the thick gravy like Chinese meals, you might want to ask for light on the brown sauce.
The restaurant itself wasn't a P.F. Changs inside; however, I wasn't looking for a nice restaurant. I just wanted some Chinese food. If you're after a nice sit-down place, this might not be your spot.
It restaurant appeared to be relatively clean and the staff were extremely polite and efficient. The price of the food was pretty typical with the entrees being around $8-$9 dollars for chicken, seafood and beef.
If you're looking for good, cheap takeout,...
Read moreMy sister and I ordered food from here when she realized her favorite Chinese place was closed (on Black Friday, what, y’all don’t like money??) so we googled a few places and decided on China Dragon. At her fav place, China Buffet, it’s only $3.95 for a pint of shrimp fried rice and $4.35 for TEN crab rangoons. At China Dragon, it cost us $7.00 for a pint of shrimp fried rice and $5.00 for SIX rangoons. I figured whatever, it will be delicious and that’s what matters... oh my God. No. They used yellow rice for the fried rice, the tiniest shrimp I’ve ever seen, no egg, no soy sauce, just completely bland and gross. Then, the rangoons were weird triangles, not the regular folded ones I’m used to. They had the tiniest amount of cream cheese mixture in them, and were soft and chewy to the point of not being able to bite off a piece without struggling. If your food is going to be more expensive than other places, then it should be better or at least as good. Total waste of money, I would NOT recommend this...
