Cane Patch Driving Range — Local services in Myrtle Beach

Not a happy camper today...(May 3, 2017)...today myself and 5 other ladies that live in our community went for the 3rd time to play 18 holes of par 3 golf. While the past 2 times golfing there were fine, today was not. We arrived between 10:30 and 11:00 am and went inside to pay. There was a line waiting and additional folks came in behind us. We payed and proceeded out to play. The guy in the cart told us to break in to two groups of three which we graciously did. We proceeded to hole 1 where we told him to allow the group of two men to go in front of us.

While we were waiting for the two guys to go the guy in the cart had the nerve to come forward and tell us to get moving and ready...the guys in front were still no where near the green and we had balls in hand and clubs ready. He also sarcastically said "do you ladies know what ready golf is?" Well let me tell you, that did it for us. It is not our fault that 20 people showed up to play at the same time...and we hadn't even been given a chance to start before these sarcastic remarks were made.

We proceeded to play our game and when we were walking from hole 7 to holes 8 and 9, the guy in the office was outside and he proceeded to clap and say glad to see you guys have picked up the pace. HUH??? We weren't holding up the pace. As we passed the guy in the cart, he made another smart comment about "glad you picked it up ladies."

Well that did it for us. $120 dollars for 6 to play a par three course that isn't really all that...our money will go elsewhere. We asked the two guys in front of us if anything was said to them as they passed to get to 8 and 9 and they said not a word. Makes me wonder if this is just a female thing going on.

I took my son’s and my nephew here for the first time! I must say we had a great time 😀I may have found a new play to visit when in town

The range is spacious with plenty of hitting bays, and the turf quality is great. I really appreciated the automatic tee-up system — a convenient touch that lets you stay focused on your swing. They also have a nice putting and chipping green for short game practice.

Prices are reasonable, and the location is super convenient, right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Whether you’re in town for a few days or a local looking for a consistent place to work on your game, Cane Patch is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

I've always had a somewhat mild curiosity about this establishment, and back in the day when the local Marriott would give us free tickets for miniature golf businesses, Cane Patch would always be offered as an option.

On our most recent visit in town, my father and I visited this place on a nice sunny day, and we both left as happy and entertained customers! The prices here are pretty reasonable (though I will admit, he paid for me 😁) they give you a plethora of golf balls for what you do pay for, there are also some snacks and candy bars and the like for purchase, and the range itself even has some little colored platforms you can aim at for an extra challenge!

They also have a par 3 golf course. I'm not sure if it's open, but if it is, I'll have to come back later and...
