I live out in AZ so I was so excited to swing by a Hardee's and get biscuits and gravy before headed back. Unfortunately I had the worst experience in my life at a fast food restaurant. We go in and walk up to the counter and had to ask someone to come take our order. That should have been a sign we should just leave but I really wanted biscuits and gravy.
Our order was taken and it took 20 minutes for us to get our food. I decided to use the restroom and I think a port-a-potty would have been cleaner. There was trash piled up and running over in the floor. The toilets were disgusting and there were no paper towels.
We finally get our food and at this point we were running close to our flight so we decided to eat in the car. I was furious when I opened my container and poured out the gravy. There was a label of some sort along with some kind of paper material..maybe a napkin. My husband decided to throw his biscuit away too because he was afraid of getting sick. I was half tempted to turn around and go complain but the employees were so unprofessional I knew it wouldn't make a difference. One of the three mushroom and swiss burgers I ordered was severely undercooked. Surprising since I thought they would have cooked them all the same time.
I took pictures of the food and the receipt. I still have the original receipt. I discarded the food since I didn't know if I would get back there today.
Upon calling the store representative, they informed me that they cannot replace or refund the burger without the original food. This is ironic since most restaurants will not accept handled or partially eaten food to sanitary concerns.
This level of customer service was very disappointing. A $5 Burger is risking the $500 a year I spend there.
I've literally been eating at Hardee's for 50 years. I cannot recall a time that I had a bad experience. I guess there's a first for everything.
I tried to call Hardee's headquarters customer service that they don't answer the phone anymore. So I ended up talking to the chatbot which was rather cumbersome on a smartphone. We shall see if they respond.
For now, I will dispute the portion of the bill related to the Burger in question on my credit card.

Then she rolled her eyes at me for asking to change the 1/4 on meat to the 1/3lb. The soft drinks (coke), was not carbonated and that area was messy. Food is decent, fries could have used some seasoning or at least salt for my taste, I asked for some salt and after standing for a while to get acknowledge by an employee they said they didn't have any. Understandable, it happens. I walked away and then turned around to ask for mayonaisse and not only did it take for ever to get acknowledge again but this time the employees were all gather and laughing loudly. There were people waiting to order food and them too were not being attended appropriately. As I was eating my food I couldn't help but notice what appeared to be the manager and an employee hugging in the dinning area.
