Myrtle Beach Atlantic Palms Oceanfront — Hotel in Myrtle Beach

We staid in the hotel for a weekend we got the two bedroom with kitchen we were charged eight hundred+ something dollars for 2 nights. Please do not I repeat do not make the same mistake I did I just thru away my families money because I went with my Brother in law and his wife and they paid half of the stay. I felt so embrace when we got there. When you first go in the lest-oil and king pine (pine-sol) smell was horrible the parking is horrible to get your things out of the car. The eating place we never even try it of how dirty everything looked even when it had this peculiar pine sol smell. Finally made it to the room and again it had the worst fish smell like some one went in there a month a go and fried some fish and left the old oil in the air conditioner as an air refresher, Had to buy a candle and burn it because no one could stand the bad smell. And please believe me when I say I'm not being picky I know its on the beach and it will have some little wet smell I can deal with that but this was out of this world. Please know that if you stay in this hotel every once in a wile while you are in the balconies you will receive the great aroma of marijuana visiting your room NOT. The refrigerator didn't work it didn't cool down and there was nothing you could put in there not even a coke cus it wood of not been cold the next day. Bathroom vent made the worst mistake of looking up and the vent had so much dirt it seamed it was never cleaned sense the hotel was remodeled nasty as it could be. I'm sorry Atlantic I have to say I staid both nights cus I didn't have any other choice but I have to say I will never go back. Hope everyone reads this review and help other not make the same...

Rented the 2 bdr condo. Everything was ok except the smoke detector kept going off in the kids room and it wasn't occupied. Called front desk and they sent someone up immediately. He stated the batteries were going out. He slipped on the floor and I told him we were having the same problem. There was something very slippery on the floor. He stated that he would report it. After, my son fell and ended up with 2 bruised toes. Someone from the hotel sent me a text around 11:45pm asking how the room was. I explained the issues and sent a pic of the his foot. No response back! Around 10:30am housekeeping knocked on the door and walked off. Around 11:20 she came back stating the front desk keeps sending her up to get us out of the room. If we didn't leave we would be charged extra. I asked for late check-out upon registration and was told it was fine. We finished packing and left the room. Went to the front desk and one of the clerk's who was there when I checked in stated he didn't remember and that the young lady didn't make note of it. I asked to see the manager, a heavy set white guy. He said there's miscommunication and that housekeeping wasn't told to do that. I explained that it was very unprofessional the way things were handled. I also mentioned about the floor, my son's bruised toes and the smoke detector. He asked me what did I want him to do and just stood there. At the same time, another family was being kicked out of their room cussing and fussing. We all took a pic of the contract that clearly stated out by 12 or charged...

This was the NASTIEST hotel I have ever been to. DO NOT STAY HERE! I went to check in and after the lady took my payment and gave me the key to the room she informs me that they had a flood but it “didn’t affect our room”. We (my bf and I) and see that the entire hallway carpet was wet. The next door from ours all the way to the end of the hall was flooded. They had floor fans blowing. How dirty! But we went to the room and per usual I Lysol everything at every hotel. He is checking out the frig and microwave and come to find they left a half eaten burrito in the microwave, uncovered and all. We leave out the room to move the car but I had to use the bathroom so we went back in. While I’m in the bathroom I here him making noise I asked what’s going on, he said... ITS A ROACH. Oh hellll no! I said oh they about to move me. I inform the people at the front desk and they act as though I’m upset for no reason. They said they cnt move me. Didn’t offer me another option or anything. So I ask so what are you going to do about the roaches. The manager (dirty guy) said we can give u ur money back which took 3 business days. So within 10 mins I found me another hotel Californian Beach Resort. Very clean, right by the beach, no roaches, and the front desk people were not rude at all. Like this roach motel. They need to shut this place down all together. They don’t deserve a one star but I can’t post with out giving them...
