The building was clean the interior was nice, everything appeared state-of-the-art and they appeared to be well-staffed. Went through the drive-thru was asked to pull forward to wait. After almost 15 minutes I went inside to see what was taking so long. There was no line in the Drive-Thru, it was not very busy inside at all one or two customers here and there. Asked about my order and a nice lady (appeared to be a manager) inquired with what appeared to be an associate manager. The associate manager replied she did not have any cars parked. I informed her that yes, she did and that I had been parked for almost 15 minutes. This Manager did not reply to me at all or acknowledge my presence. The other manager, however, requested my receipt which I supplied and then proceeded to put my order together, calling out the items I had ordered to the staff in the back. I really don't know what they were doing but it was clear they weren't really listening to her at first, because after a small amount of time, she repeated her order a little more forcefully although still polite adding a thank you to the request at the end. She gathered the order together apologized both professionally and profusely and gave courtesy pies for the inconvenience. Due to how she handled the experience, it ended up being positive, despite the behavior of some of the others. The food was amazing. It was hot, fresh and really good. Worth the wait. Thankful for the one manager that came to my rescue, it made this experience what it should have...
Read moreEvery time we go to this McDonalds the workers have the worst attitude, I could be smiling and asking how their day is and am met with rude and disrespectful attitudes. I ordered food from the drive thru today, and a worker slammed the window in my face after I asked him for sauce. The last time i requested a toy for a girl, and they completely left the toy out. I went inside and asked for it only to be met with more attitude because I asked for it. I paid for it, whether it’s 1$ or 5$ I paid for it. Our ordered always come out wrong, EVERY SINGLE TIME, I’m very sick of the attitudes of the employees here and at other locations. Regional manger in charge of myrtle beach/south Carolina needs to either put employees in check or they should be shut down one by one if the employees are that miserable. If they’re not happy with their jobs then they should look for another one, there must be no management here because everyone acts the exact same. The experience, stale or missing food is just about enough for me. I only come because my kids like the happy meal experience. After today, rather than returning the attitude and rude behavior I’ll chose to no longer eat or take my family to any McDonald’s restaurant, I know they don’t care at corporate because they’re making so much money. So one more reason to not even think...
Read moreI went to the McDonald's on 1/4/23 @ about 9:11pm. I ordered my food, two burgers and a large hot fries, paid for my meal and went to the next window. This is where I meet Summer the so called manager. I asked if the fries were hot she said yes, I took one out and it was not hot, also not fully cooked. I taste two in front of her as she is telling me it just came out the fryer. I asked for my money back and called my husband so he could listen to the nice nasty manager Summer. She came back with the order with her nice nasty self and tone that I didn't trust to eat from her and plus I had to ask for my refund a second time. I asked for her name and with the nice nasty tone she said Summer is her name. Miss nice nasty Summer waa glad to tell me that she was a manager. If you go to this McDonald's and miss nice nasty Summer is there please cancel your order and go on your way. I think the corporation she look at some of the videos when she is working. But if they don't care who the employees are treating...
