When entering the establishment, my mom and I were greeted cordially. We were asked whether we had reservations which threw me off a bit. I didn’t think it was required. There were tables available but we were told that there was a big reservation coming. After a few minutes we were seated. There was a family behind us that was seated immediately with no issues. The waitress that seated us immediately started assisting the family while my mom and I sat with no menus and silverware. So I said “excuse me. Can we get some menus.” Do you know this heffa got an attitude and was giving an excuse about being busy…Like really?! Anyway, we made our selections and waited patiently for our waitress to return. She did not. I watched her walk back and forth helping everyone around us except my mom and I. Eventually another waitress came close enough to take someone else’s order. And I said “Excuse me. Can you take our order?” She was actually under the impression that our order was already taken. Emily was our server and she was extremely kind. Now let’s move onto the food. I knew it was going to be phenomenal when I saw the chef. She had tats and a scarf tying her hair back. She did not disappoint! We ordered the silly milly and it was phenomenal! 2 thumbs up. Based on the clean plates from the surrounding tables, this place looks like a big hit! Things to keep in mind: This establishment is small so you may want to call ahead. Be very patient during the rush. The food is definitely worth the wait! I gave this a 4 star because of our initial interaction. Emily and the chef made up for it though! Thanks guys! 🙌🏽

Come here with an empty stomach because you’re going to leave full of croissants. The most beautiful bread I have ever seen. Looking for breakfast in Myrtle Beach SC I was heading to NHOP like everyone told me to go. Line out the door packed, we didn’t even park the car. I followed M. Bourdain style and went towards the Main Street Broadway district. A Google gave high rating for Winna’s and review looked good. We found a parking spot and was greeted with the best smile.!Wait staff matched my friendly greeting with a bigger one and then I saw the folded to perfection ode to the croissant 🥐 flaky and puffy of perfection . One of the staff came over to talk to me about the lengthy baking process to create this sculptural carb. I had to have the chocolate croissant for an appetizer and then I had the chicken salad, it was divine and delicious. Perfectly shredded chicken with a subtle amount of mayo, blended with finely chopped celery for a little crunch. I had to have another plain croissant to use a vehicle of the chicken salad. Back from MB SC and still thinking about the baked goods, took the homemade oatmeal cream pie as a snack for the flight back. Thanks for a delicious addition to my summer vacation. I cannot wait to come back for more delicious food.

UPDATE: went back the next day for the hash, chicken pot pie and bacon fried rice, all solid! Man o man where to begin! I wish my family lived nearby so we could enjoy this place more often! Went this morning and it was the best breakfast experience I’ve had in a long time! From French toast the size of your head to the cast iron omelette to the oh so flavorful “Get Shook” (shakshuka) to the honey walnut whipped goat cheese to the chorizo and lime crema sweet potato wedges to the nutella/marshmallow stuffed croissant - not a single dish I wouldn’t order again, and several others I wish I had space to try (I’m looking at you meatloaf, chicken pot pie, bacon fried rice)! The “eat well” part of their slogan is more than covered. You can tell the local family behind this has put their heart and soul into everything here - and they have a no. 1 you can order to provide a meal to a local in need, displaying just a small piece of their heart behind the “do good” part of their slogan. I’m a foodie, I honestly don’t know anyone that enjoys eating more than I do, and I have also worked in high-end restaurants in multiple states for over 15 years and I wholeheartedly endorse this place.

My husband and I visited Winna's Kitchen yesterday and today. 1st visit - Brunch: I ordered a salted caramel espresso and hubby, a houseblend coffee. The espresso was a comfortingly deep, rich drink especially after adding a sample of their brown butter sauce to it, which was offered by our wonderfully friendly server Bella. She talked me into a decaf brown butter espresso, too. Yum-my! My bacon and egg fried rice was sooo good, especially with the shrimp I added. My husband fed me a bit of his Corky's meatloaf with bacon jam and roasted potatoes. Oh. My. Gosh. It was so jam good ;-)! There was nothing left on his plate. We also had the pleasure of meeting the restaurant's owner, who greeted and briefly chatted with us, and her daughter, who created the delicious brown butter sauce. 2nd visit - Breakfast: We each got baked omelets to our individual tastes which came with a piece of artisan bread. We we offered jam for our bread. I got the strawberry and he, the mixed berry. Both were delicious. Of course, I ordered the brown butter espresso and hubby got the salted caramel espresso. Again, we were waited on and served by Bella who was as bubbly and friendly as before. The atmosphere each visit was peaceful and relaxing. The staff are friendly. The restaurant and it's restrooms are quite clean. Should I ever visit Myrtle Beach, SC again there is no doubt I'd choose to eat at...
