Nasty pizza and even worse service!
We were on vacation, on Xmas day no less. A flier put under the door of the hotel prompted us to call. I understood they were likely busy so was patient and understanding. After ordering a pie and 2 simple salads, they said an hour. Long but ok I get it and no problem.
After an hour and 5 mins I call to make sure they could find us. I asked about the status of the order and if there was a problem finding us. I was assured, rather exasperatedly, that there was no problem and that the delivery person was in the area of the hotel right then and it would be any minute so I shouldn’t worry. Ok
After 20 mins with no one showing up, I tried calling back like 5 more times because they weren’t answering. My attempt was to meet the delivery person at the entry since they were obviously having a hard time with the location. I finally gave up and went back upstairs to go out pick up something else. After grabbing kids and keys to leave, I hear a thunderous knock on the door. It was finally the delivery person, an hour and 45 mins after I put in the order! I remained calm and pleasant despite being really annoyed, even after he asked for a tip. Really!?! … you want a tip!!! After getting the items and opening everything, The pizza was tiny hard and cold as you can imagine. The salads were missing the chicken and the salad dressing we ordered! The grilled chicken salad had NO chicken at all. The veggie that I paid $2 extra to have chicken added on literally looked like 2 dry chicken nuggets were cut up into 8 pieces and mixed in.
Then when I complained to the restaurant via email, they sent a response of “Really”. Yes! Really!
I don’t write reviews complaining about things but this was beyond horrible and I hope to save the next family a great waste of money. Very disappointing and nasty! Never, ever again!!!!
And don’t bother writing a canned response since it is obvious that the two years you have been receiving negative comments about food and service hasn’t prompted any meaningful...
Read moreUnimpressed. First of all, I never received an itemized receipt. This bothered me primarily because I specifically ordered two bowls of chicken alfredo pasta, but got two bowls of pasta without any chicken. I don't know if I paid for the chicken or not? Did they take my order wrong or did they charge me for it and then forget to add the chicken? I have no way of knowing without any type of itemized receipt. If I didn't pay for the chicken then their delivery fee must have been about $10, which is annoyingly steep. It took over an hour for the food to get to us, and both the person who took my order over the phone and the person who delivered the food were rather unpleasant, and I didn't want to have to wait another hour to get the order made correctly, so I didn't bother calling and complaining about it. Maybe I should have. The food itself was ok? Too salty, tasted more like salt than alfredo. It was pretty disappointing to me that I could have gotten better food for half the price from a chain restaurant. I thought I was paying higher prices for better food and a better experience....
Read morePizza is gross, I would have rather had a frozen pizza over this! I honestly not sure where it went wrong either. The texture of the crust is wrong, like a thin crust that was accidentally made to thick, slapped with a tomato sauce that wishes the only thing wrong with its taste was lack of salt (that's with bacon and pepperoni on top). Then they decide to cook one side until it's got black spots, with the other side not quite as done as you would like. The breadsticks were just as bad, I think there was cheese in the middle, but it all was so tough (in a overworked dough kind of way) I can't be sure. If there is any doubt about how hard they were to chew and eat my 80# dog even had troubke with it and he chews on blocks of wood! Then to dip them in that same bland sauce that has the bite of plain tomato sauce out of the can. There are some really good pizza placed in this area, but this is not one of them, do yourself a favor and...
