The SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, stands as an iconic attraction along the bustling boardwalk, offering visitors an unparalleled experience of the city's stunning coastline. Having had the pleasure of visiting the SkyWheel during its grand opening a few years ago, my wife and I recently returned to relive the magic, and we were not disappointed.
Ascending to the top of the SkyWheel, we were greeted with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Myrtle Beach skyline, stretching out across the azure expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. The sensation of being suspended high above the city was nothing short of awe-inspiring, as we marveled at the sprawling coastline and the vibrant hues of the sunset casting a golden glow over the landscape. It was a moment of sheer tranquility and beauty that left an indelible mark on our memories.
What struck us most upon our return was the unwavering charm and hospitality of the SkyWheel staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests. Their professionalism and attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience, enhancing the overall ambiance of the attraction.
Despite the passage of time, the price of admission remained reasonable, allowing us to indulge in this unforgettable experience without breaking the bank. This accessibility further underscores the SkyWheel's commitment to providing an exceptional value proposition for visitors of all backgrounds.
One of the most remarkable aspects of our visit was the consistency of our enjoyment. Even after several years, the thrill of ascending to the top of the SkyWheel and taking in the breathtaking view remained undiminished. It was a testament to the enduring appeal of this iconic landmark and its ability to captivate the hearts and minds of visitors, old and new alike.
In conclusion, our recent visit to the SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach was a testament to its enduring charm and appeal. From the breathtaking view at the top to the impeccable service provided by the staff, every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning guest, the SkyWheel promises an unforgettable journey above the clouds, making it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the...

This VIP package comes in a $35 option and a $50 option the $50 option includes a photo which I denied and after I got off and seen the photo I was upset because it costs another $20 and I definitely wanted it they have a camera man from space who really hooked up that photo because I know I did not look that good. Lol but obviously I didn't have the $20 because I got the $35 option but...
That was probably the coolest Ferris wheel ride that I've gotten on and I've gotten on the ferris wheel at Niagara falls! It would not have been as cool if I did not get the VIP but do not I repeat do not- not get the VIP! Do not get in one of the peasant gondolas I have never been in one but after experiencing the VIP, those are just for peasants. Also me- "are there any discounts!?" I'm a friend of a student yano!
The see-through floor the leather seats and the fact that I just felt like royalty it made my entire year and thank you guys so much the line was cool the staff was friendly and there's actually a restaurant and a gift shop when you walk out.
Again I know it's $50 but you did get six rotations I felt like I was on that thing forever and I almost wanted to ask them are they sure that I can go around one more time LOL but apparently it was only six times but let me tell you it was well worth it and I can't wait to...
Read moreThis was a great family experience with 2 kids, 7 years old and almost 3 years old! We went in mid-Sept, on a Monday, around 4 pm; there was no line for tickets and no line to get on. While we rode, the SkyWheel stopped only a few times for passengers and we went around about 8 times! The first time around was slightly stomach turning but we all adjusted quickly and completely enjoyed every other revolution. Gondolas with AC is a huge plus! We visit North Myrtle Beach a few times a year and I suspect that this will become a regular activity on our visits. We selected the "Ride & Dine" package (2 adult tickets and a $25 coupon for LandShark Bar & Grill next door) but we won't do that in the future because none of us liked the restaurant. I highly recommend the SkyWheel! UPDATE: We all enjoyed it we went for a second ride the next night. We arrived a little after 7:30 pm. There was a bit of a line for tickets and quite a long wait to board our gondola. Many of the gondolas were empty. We went around probably 4 times this trip and almost every revolution had multiple stops, some of them a little long. At night thede really wasn't that much to see; the ocean was just blackness and only things off in the distance with lights were visible. Personally, the view and over all experience was FAR superior riding...
