Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Nacogdoches

We ordered through the app and chose marinara instead of the regular sauce. That's what our email confirmation said would be on our pizzas. Apparently in the store the order went through as no sauce. When we went to pick up the pizza, all the person said was no sauce, right? We assumed he meant the small cups of extra sauces, so said we didn't want those. By the time we got home, we realized there was no sauce on the pizza at all. When we called to discuss it, the employees were extremely defensive and told us they had checked with us at the time of pick up and they have no control over what we see in the email confirmation and what they see in the store and that it's not their fault. It may not be the employees' fault, but there is a problem with the system, and they handled it poorly. Ordered 2 pizzas and desert on 2/14/2020 (Valentines Day). Order was placed online at 7:26 and the website showed that it was “out for delivery” at 7:46. At 8:45 we had still not received our order. We called the store and was told that the driver couldn’t call us because our number on file was wrong. Which makes NO sense as our house numbers (black on white paint) are plainly mounted on the house and very well illuminated by a street light. We requested, and were assured, that the now 1hour old pizzas be remade. Around 9:30 the pizzas arrived. They were clearly the now 2 hour old pizzas. They were tough, dry, and if I had to describe the temperature I would say that they “might have sat next to something warm once.” This event ruined our Valentine’s Day. My wife and I order pizza from here regularly and we will not be ordering from them anymore. Our order took over an hour to get to us, we don’t mind waiting. Our food was cold and my pizza looked like someone mashed it with their hands after it was cooked and also was melted to the box. There were no slices, it looked like monkey bread. My wife called and asked them to just fix the one pizza. The manager was rude and argued with her about our order and asked her “why it took an hour for us to call” we had barely opened our boxes. He said he would replace the pizza if we gave the old one back. Not a problem. We are still waiting on the replacement pizza an hour later. Very not happy.
