This is by far the most incompetent store on planet Earth. If I could leave -1 Million Stars I would. I think I however manages this place should be fired or demoted. I ordered an open box special G-Master 24-70mm lens (open box special). I paid for priority delivery to my house in LA. The package I received was a Sigma 50mm prime lens with a Sony Lens cap on it. I called customer support immediately and they told me that I would have to file a claim, to āescalateā the situation, which takes 2-3 business days. I tried to go to my local Best Buy and they wouldnāt take the lens. Who would believe it, they were actually doing their job. Iāve tried to call this location multiple times but they send you to their call center in India. And when you try to get a hold of them they say this location is no longer taking calls at this time and you have to go through a call center. Thereās one thing for sure I am going to go full Karen and TikTok this entire event and look up exactly what employees handled my situation until someone reaches out to me directly. If anyone knows the GMs name please respond to this with a comment. Iām living I was supposed to work three jobs this weekend with this lens, which I wonāt be able to work now thanks to the competence of the horrible team at the NAMPA IDAHO BEST BUY. If you are ever thinking about doing an online order here, or any business here whatsoever, DONāT. I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER FOR ANY REASON. So if you think about ordering from this Best Buy, just know that thereās 1 of 2 things going on. 1 somebody bought a 24/7 master lens and returned a Sigma lens to an incompetent employee who didnāt know the difference between the two and got the lens for free. I decided to go to a local BestBuy and purchase a GPS device to help me navigate around unfamiliar streets, and to find my way back to the place where I'm staying at night. I arrived at the store just a few minutes before closing and was greeted nicely, even warmly, by the employees. I could see they were getting ready to close, hustling about with trash and other cleaning activities, but they never tried to hurry me. I explained what I was looking for and they directed me ... in a very friendly manner ... to the Car Electronics section of the store, where a young man (who didn't know much about the GPS devices) asked one of the more knowledgable employees to assist me. Nobody ever rushed me ... in fact, they told me to take my time and not to worry about the store closing in just a few minutes. The young lady who helped me didn't know all the answers to my questions, but looked up the specs to compare one model to another. She was very polite, and very willing to assist me in any way she could, helping me choose the GPS device I felt would be best. I was stunned at the courtesy, and the efforts put forth to assist a random, unknown customer in those last few minutes before closing, and decided I would return at a future date to let the manager of the store know how much they had impressed me ... not knowing if this courtesy was just a way of life in Idaho, or if they were just a special group of people that I had stumbled upon. First off, I scheduled my phone for repair months ago and when I took it in (mind you they knew what I was needing done) they sent me away because they didn't have the part. I ended up just getting a new phone elsewhere.
My wife has a cracked screen again Apple care suggested this location. The first day after scheduling an appointment for that specific repair they said come back tomorrow we don't have the part. Quick question .....Why can you schedule a specific repair in the system if you don't have the damn part in? Regardless she dropped it off the next day. They had her number under someone else's name and kept asking if she knew the person Who it was mistakenly scheduled under. It's a cracked screen easy fix right? They had the phone 5 hours then called me to tell me they couldn't log into some system and tried to call Apple and so thus they couldn't fix it.....
We are done using these idiots today she took it to the Apple Store at the mall the tech asked if it had recent repairs, she said yes we took it to Best Buy in Nampa. The tech informed us I'm not so many words that the idiots forgot to put the screws back in.
