OLD COUNTRY SAUSAGE — Restaurant in Nampa

I stopped in for the first time today, because I saw a sign on the sidewalk that said $10.99 Special (2) Sausages and (2) sides. I went in and ordered the special.

The German lady was very nice and helpful and the store has a huge variety of all kinds of sausages and cheeses and other specialties. Very deceiving from the narrow front windows (its big inside).

When I got up to the counter to pay, I was told it was $13.99. I told her I was ordering the special on the sign and she said, OH, I need to change that, the price of meat has gone up. That is a 27% increase in price. I do not like bait and switch advertising tactics.

The food was good, but it was not a $14.00 lunch. I left angry when I left. I won't go back, even though they do have some unique foods. I stopped because of the sign and I won't go back, because of the deceptive sign. What else is mispriced. She told me to take photo of a price list with prices marked out in ink. This place is wonderful the lady that helped me was so friendly I bought beef jerky and salami and a few other things I only went in there to buy one thing and left out of there spending almost $100 only because I fell in love with this lady and I wanted to help this small business make some money and let me tell you the beef jerky was the bomb and I usually make my own but sometimes I get lazy the salami was to die for I will be getting my sandwich meat from this place from now on also I'm asking people in the community to help support our small businesses they are very important to our community sometimes it may be a little bit more expensive but what is a community without a bunch of small businesses besides even though it was a little bit more expensive I felt as though it was so much better quality and so much better tasting from the junk that I buy at Albertsons and Walmart🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

Local Gem 💎🥰 I discovered this fabulous little deli a couple years ago and have been in love ever since. I always try to support local businesses and these guys are on the priority list. The owners are wonderful, kind and generous people, Lidia just has the most fantastic personality and we feel so welcomed here. Just walking into their shop is like stepping into another world. the smells are so aromatic and pungent, they make your mouth water. They sell so many different kinds of food and drink items such as pickled vegetables, dinner and dessert mixes, condiments, imported goods and sodas, freshly baked breads and desserts such as Rye, German Cheesecake and Peroshkis(the cheese and jam are to die for!).
