This used to be my favorite fast food restaurant. Been coming here since the 60's, so it saddens me to write this review. My meals and experience lately are terrible. Extremely poor service, and staff needs customer service training. I've gone through the drive through 3 different times and each time something was missing from my order. Tried to call the restaurant but the phone rings without being answered. One time it did go to voice mail but mail box was full so I couldn't leave a message. Next time I drove through I told them about it and they said they couldn't do anything about it unless I told them about it the same day. Told them I called with no answer. Said I should have driven back down there to let them know. Really bad service when you pay for items you don't receive and you can't even call to let them know. When you do tell them about it their reply is "sorry, you should have let us know by driving back to tell us" and they just don't seem to care. Also, they charge for condiments now, portion sizes are a lot smaller, prices a lot higher and quality of food has gone way downhill, usually cold. Crisp burritos are more like a soft burrito...nothing crisp...
Read moreSeems like it gets more expensive every year and the value options are pretty limited if your just looking for something quick and decent tasting.
I ordered a crisp meat burrito and a side of stuffed tots and realized it would be about the same price to change the burrito to a meal and I'd get a drink and extra tots. I had it switched and then waited roughly ten minutes in the restaurant (no drive through at this location). There were two tables dining in and a guy that said 6 bucks for three soft tacos as well as a group of teenagers. Everyone got their order before me. When I got mine, they didn't understand the ticket and forgot the tots so I had to wait a little longer.
Price vs what you get seems high to me but I really like the crisp meat burritos and their hot sauce is actually hot. It's worth it for a treat on a rare occasion but, with the kids eating an average of 4 tacos a piece and the man needing at least two large burritos, we would easily have a $50 bill for a dinner so it'll have to stay my random lunch...
Read moreI use to goto the old location a few times a week but since they have moved its been a train wreck and I've kept going hoping it would change but it hasn't. Lets start with the order area inside. It is small and cramped. The soda machine and salsa bar (that only has hot sauce packets) are in the worst place possible if someone is trying to order or is waiting for their order. The drive-thru is awful, they can't hear you, you have to repeat things more than once, they try to upsale you on everything and then when your order is read back its still wrong and they still try to upsale you again. Not only do they charge extra for condiments now like ranch but the prices are higher and the servings are smaller. Double check your bags as something is normally missing and the wait is normally long. Also you pull out into an alley with a giant pothole right out of the drive-thru. The customer service has declined as well. Sadly its actually turned into one of the worst Taco Times I've ever been to and I will not be...
