Espresso Martini
Vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, tonka vanilla bean, italian espresso. Serving as your caffeinated confidant and spirited sidekick, this cocktail seamlessly bridges the gap between happy hour and late-night adventures. With each sip, prepare to buzz like a bee, primed for whatever the night may bring. So, take a swig and let every gulp be your jolt of joy, the companion to your midnight ambitions that will both wake you up and _______ you up.
Clover Club
Gin, raspberry-strawberry cordial, lemon, egg white. While the city of philadelphia may not offer much to modern life nowadays, this charming pre-prohibition classic stands out as one of its greatest historical contributions. Recently popularized, particularly at its namesake bar in brooklyn, new york (arguably a better city than philadelphia), we consider this our original gin juice. It's an approachable and crushable drink that invites you to lay back and let your mind wander onto your money and your money onto your mind. Cheers to a timeless sip of history!
Mr. Pleasant
Cherry heering, carpano antica, fernet branca, pineapple cordial, foam. Experience an arranged marriage of flavors more harmonious than matchmaking auntie's dream! This cocktail brings together spirits that rarely mingle, creating a wedded bliss. A wild and zesty affair where the foam party on the dance floor won't be soon forgotten. It's a tastefully arranged union where each sip will leave your palate happily surprised, thinking, "who knew pleasant could be this adventurous?"
Moscow Mule
Vodka, mint, lime, ginger. This drink is the hipster of the cocktail scene, sporting a copper mug that's cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses. With vodka, perfectly spicy ginger, and a squeeze of lime, it's the kind of drink that makes every sip a spirited adventure in a metallic vessel. Cheers to the cocktail that's as chill as a siberian snowstorm and as spicy as a russian twist.
Hemingway Daiquiri
Rum, luxardo maraschino, clarified grapefruit, lime, japanese shaved ice. A cocktail so suave, even papa would tip his hat from his sun valley perch. It's the kind of drink that whispers tales of old havana and the rugged allure of the idaho mountains, one that may inspire you to pen your own masterpiece. So, cheers to the drink inspired by the swagger of ernest hemingway - a man who preferred his daiquiris "without sugar and double rum", a nod to adventure, and a toast to tales buried in the sun valley soil.

I have followed chef Richard for several years now and his culinary journey. He takes a lot of pride in complex flavor combinations that creates an amazing flavor journey. We came in and asked for "A flavor experience from the chef" we wanted several options and get a feel the Stag in Nampa. I want to give Jonah a mention because we were sitting at the bar for a few hours in conversation. He takes a lot of pride in mixing drinks and had amazing flow that seriously resembled art. In the peek of the dinner rush on a Friday it was great to see the flow of the staff. Our favorite drink of the night: -Rummy in my tummy- THIS WAS OUR FAVORITE! -Mother's Milk Our favorite food items: -Marinated Artichokes - ANYTHING with the truffle Aioli is to die for! -Chicken Sandwich- The chicken with truffle aioli and mushrooms really just made a delicious combination. -Brandy Mushrooms- looking for a small dish to pair with a few drinks? I really enjoyed the flavor and sauce with each bite.

I can't wait to see the staff and menu expand in amazing unique ways. I believe this unique speakeasy gem is a great place for dates, girlfriends catching up or group gatherings. Group gatherings I would call a head of time. IMPORTANT SUGGESTION- We went during the Friday after valentines day during dinner rush. They did reach capacity and during their peek had a few sets of couples waiting to be seated. There is not a real waiting area once you go down the stairs. I believe the staff was attentive to those people waiting. If you are coming to check out this new HOT spot in Nampa I would suggest coming not during peek times. Personally I enjoy sitting and conversating with whoever I am with and not feeling pressured to leave. I believe this was one of their best nights since they had opened being valentines weekend so this might not be a normal dinner rush.

I would make a suggestion to owners if this keeps happening take out the decorations at the bottom of the stairs or arrange on shelves on the wall instead. Put a standing only table along that wall or a tall circle table so people waiting can lean/stand around it and can place drink orders before being seated. This table can be moved around to be out of the way during slow times but during busy dinner rushes on Fridays and Saturdays can be out. I think you could have 2 or 3 groups of 2 people stand/share the table with drinks and conversate with each other before being seated. I personally think this personal touch of "open bar tab" waiting for a table is attentive to those waiting and would increase sales during peek times.

Thank you Sick Stag and chef Richard for a lovely time. We will be back...

I saw their sign on the door this summer and they're finally open. Wow, was it worth the wait! I started with one of their specialty drinks, and it was so creative, flavorful, complex, and balanced that I stayed in their specialty menu the whole night. Every drink was the same amazing experience. I would trust whoever designed that menu to try anything - I hope they stretch their legs. The food was great, too - it can hold its own with the cocktails. The curried deviled eggs were so good that we ordered a second helping, and the chicken pate was just right - smooth and rich and packed with flavor. I'll definitely be back - and soon! There's so much more I want to try on the menu, and I'm sure I won't be the only one. If you like Craft Lounge, you'll love this place, and you should check it out before the rest of the valley discovers it. There's going to be a line...

This place is so cool! 😎 We've been hearing about The Sick Stag for a few months now. We finally got to go on Saturday night. So glad we did. This is really a fun spot. The decorations are eclectic and one of a kind. The staff was super nice. We were served by one of the owners and he was full of awesome drink advice. They have an incredibly well stocked bar with a number of bottles you don't see in every bar. I loved that they had a bar menu with not only all the specialty drinks they make, but also a list of each bottle they carry and what the prices are of each drink from their extensive bar. It's definitely worth a visit. I'm sure after you go in once, you'll become a regular. Also, check out the cool are in the bathrooms!! HIGHLY...

I absolutely loved every minute we spent here! The drinks were beautiful and delicious, the food was decadent and the service was on point, even on a Thursday afternoon. I love the alcohol free options on the menus, and the happy hour menus had a lot of variety. The overall vibe of the place was relaxed but the atmosphere and aesthetic were dark and cozy. Setting the booths back in alcoves away from the bar means we can have a conversation and enjoy ourselves without being overwhelmed by the music and other patrons conversations. This place is a 10/10. Literally the only thing I can even think of would be to please please please add a charcuterie or cheese tray to the menu! That would really make this place shine!

Okay this place is RAD. It’s a really cool underground bar with so much to look at. If you want a booth, go to their website and make a reservation! They’re so cozy and private. My husband ordered the Rattlesnake and I ordered the Porn Star. Both = YUM! We also had the salmon dip and bar snacks! Also YUM! First we met Jonah who sat us and explained the menu & happy hour and he was fantastic! And then Sydney… SYDNEY and I became best friends! Lol! It was only her 3rd day and the way she took care of us, her knowledge and recommendations had me thinking she’d been there for years! Overall it was a perfect experience and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We can’t wait to come back!
