Scottie's Donuts — Restaurant in Nampa

Scotties has the beat donuts in the valley. I've been a long time supporter but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that they cannot keep up with the supply and demand. Nor can they hold consistent hours. Scotty himself has stated that this was unexpected however I cannot believe that this wasn't anticipated. No phone lines open, working on a website. All of these things should have been in order beforehand. In fact I believe the online order system will make it worse for those wanting to come in. I've been 3 times. They've either been closed with open hours, wiped out, our working on making more with a long wait time. I would hate to see them lose more business due to staff shortage and supply/demand. As much as I love their donuts that are worth every penny I'm done supporting until they can figure out. I'm highly disappointed considering my 35 minute drive hopeful for just 1 dang donut. Support elsewhere past 9am or you'll be met...

Wow!!! After stopping for gas across the street I looked over and saw this place and instantly wanted a donut! It was 7am when I walked in. The place was clean and the customer service was the best I’ve had in the west! It was hard to pick only 4 donuts but with just two of us I had to hold back. I will say these are some of the best donuts I’ve ever had! I also ordered a latte and coffee to go with my donut choices and it was like being back in Italy. The type of espresso maker they have is a true espresso maker and not just push a button out of a machine. And if stopping by for just a donut or coffee isn’t enough……the customer service with a smile will brighten anyone’s day!! They have to be the most friendly people you will meet at that early hour. I thought I was back in Texas! I can’t wait to go back next time I’m passing...

Scottie’s needs to gear up in order to handle the high volume of business at their new brick and mortar location on Franklin; unbelievably long lines. Waited in drive-thru for over half an hour only to be told that they were not taking any more drive-thru orders. Absolutely no communication until I arrived at the window. I just wanted two donuts. Apparently they were totally out of donuts by 9:15 a.m. At this point, staff is ill-equipped to handle the crowds and unable to figure out how to meet start-up demand. Hopefully, they will be able to transition to their new business model. No donut is worth this kind of frustration.
