Having dined at Caffè Milano on multiple occasions, both for lunch with a friend and for dinner with my kids and family, I can confidently say that all of my visits have been nothing short of excellent.

One of the standout features of this restaurant is its wonderfully authentic Italian ambiance. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by servers and employees speaking Italian to each other, which adds to the fun and lively atmosphere. It's a nice touch that enhances the overall dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. Caffè Milano delivers on both taste and value. Their menu offers a variety of options, and I've had the pleasure of enjoying their delicious lunch sandwiches as well as their flavorful dinner pasta dishes. Among them, the lasagna truly stood out for me. It was a delectable combination of rich flavors and comforting layers.

What I appreciate about Caffè Milano is that it strikes a perfect balance between a nice dining experience without being pretentious. I felt at ease bringing my young children along, even when I was dining alone with them while my wife was out of town. The staff made us feel welcome and accommodated our needs, creating a family-friendly environment.

As a family with gluten allergies, we were pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free pasta options available—a rarity in many Italian restaurants. This thoughtful inclusion allowed us to enjoy our meal without any concerns, and it added to the overall positive experience.

Now, let's move on to the dessert. The tiramisu, oh boy, it's a sight to behold. However, be prepared for its size. It's enormous and not exactly what you might expect. Picture a large bowl of tiramisu soup nestled in a sizable edible bowl, almost like a taco salad. While the portion was more than generous, it exceeded my expectations and proved to be more than I could handle in one sitting.

In summary, Caffè Milano checks off all the boxes for a memorable dining experience. From the quality of the food to the elevated yet relaxed ambiance, from the exceptional service to the professional staff, this restaurant has it all. The location on 5th Avenue South is superb, and the lively decor adds to the overall fun atmosphere. I highly recommend Caffè Milano to anyone visiting 5th Avenue South in Naples. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal that won't break the bank, especially considering its prime location in the...

Caffè Milano: Where Carbs and Class Collide in a Roman Rom-Com of Flavor.

Listen, I came to Caffè Milano for a light meal… and left like I’d just carbo-loaded for a marathon I didn’t sign up for and definitely won’t be running. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a full-blown Italian opera of indulgence, and I was sobbing in ravioli by the final act.

Let’s start with the menu. It’s got more options than my therapist gives me in a crisis. “Do you want the Margherita Skizza? The Short Rib pasta? The entire left side of the wine list?” Yes. Yes, I do. Don’t make me choose—I’m delicate and hungry.

THE SPECIAL ($42)? Ravio-wow. I don’t know what was inside that little pasta pillow, but I’m 90% sure it was forged in the hands of a carb angel in Tuscany and shipped here via Vespa.

Then came the Carbonara—eggs, bacon, parmesan, and creamy joy wrapped around strands of house-made pappardelle that slithered like silk. I took a bite and heard Andrea Bocelli singing faintly in the background. No speaker. Just the pasta.

We tried the Meatballs, obviously, because I respect tradition and also because my date said “don’t.” They were dense, juicy, and I’m still thinking about them like an ex that got away but left you full and satisfied.

Wine? Don’t even get me started. The list is longer than a CVS receipt and fancier than a Real Housewife’s birthday dinner. We had a Super Tuscan that was so good I wrote it a thank-you note.

Oh, and mocktails? If you’re sober curious or just need a break from your Pinot-fueled decisions, the Summer Garden Spritz will make you feel like you're sipping something fancy at a rooftop garden party with absolutely no regrets—except maybe not ordering the Cannoli (rookie mistake).

And let’s talk service: our server was like a caffeinated encyclopedia of pasta knowledge and charm. She walked us through the menu like Gandalf leading us to Mordor but with more truffle butter and fewer orcs.

Pro tip: Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and mentally prepare to drop-kick your low-carb diet into the nearest canal. Caffè Milano is not here to help you with your summer body goals—it’s here to ruin them deliciously.

I’ll be back. Possibly weekly. Possibly with a...

We love the food and the atmosphere in this place, the reason why we are giving it 1 star is for the waiters behaviors and how they invent new ways every time we go to over charge . It has been happening for the last few years but because we like the food and atmosphere we keep going back to give them another chance, last Wednesday was our last chance for them and they lost it. My spouse and I went to celebrate and we decided to go for happy hour, so we ordered 2 drinks and all the appetizers they have on the menu….with each appetizer we order the Waiter ask a clarifying question and suggest a minimal change, for example the filet mignon with cheese and truffles he asked if we would like white or black truffle so we said white, for the calamari he asked if we would like to add shrimp to it, we said why not!!!! And so forth , finally he asked if I would like my water flat or sparkling so I said flat…. Few minutes later the water came in a bottle with no lid at all ( and it was not in a pitcher) I didn’t think much about it, then after we had our nice time I went to the restrooms and my spouse received the bill by the time I was done he was done paying too. After we left I asked about how much the bill was for, and I was so chocked that we paid almost triple what I expected!!! when I asked why, he told me that every time we answered a clarifying question they consider it change in the happy hour item and they charged the regular price plus extra charge for the special request! Oh, and I don’t want to forget to let you know that we were charged for this water bottle that came with no lid, which most likely was filled with tap water! Now I want you guys to make sure that it is not a money issue at all! It is a concept issue for me! We were tricked by the waiter, no explanation or whatsoever! It was our special date and it was ruined because of the dishonesty . We will never go back again. And I want to let everyone who goes there to be careful while ordering and ask enough questions so you won’t end up paying...

Last night, I had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Milano, drawn in by its bright yellow umbrellas and inviting outdoor setting. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening, and I was excited to experience what the restaurant had to offer. From the moment I arrived, the service, food, and drinks were top-notch. The happy hour was exceptional, offering a well-curated selection of both food and cocktails that exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a happy hour that delivers such high quality on both fronts, and Cafe Milano truly impressed. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when the Maître D / host abruptly ended happy hour before its scheduled time. We were all following the happy hour menu and times and days clearly listed. When I politely questioned him, he became argumentative, insisting that he had the authority to pull happy hour at any time. This policy was nowhere to be found on the menu, which was available at the bar and clearly listed happy hour pricing. The exchange was not only uncomfortable but unacceptable behavior for a hospitality service member. In the end, We did receive the proper happy hour pricing. While the overall experience at Cafe Milano was fantastic, the host’s confrontational attitude left a disappointing impression. A restaurant of this caliber should prioritize consistency and customer service, and his behavior did not reflect the otherwise outstanding hospitality I received. I hope management addresses this, as it detracts from an otherwise amazing dining experience.
