My husband picked Pazzo for a date night while we were visiting family in Naples and it was a great choice! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and out. We were lucky and early enough to score one of the comfy couch tables which was very spacious and cozy at the same time. Our server Tristan was great, very friendly, funny and accommodating. He knew the menu and his job very well. We were greeted with a tasty welcome plate that was a nice treat. We don't drink anymore, but Tristan offered a tasty blackberry lemonade concoction that was perfect! We started with the bread and tasty oil, and the shrimp scampi appetizer was honestly to die for. I'm a scampi fan and this was probably the best I've ever had. The meter lemon risotto was a perfect pairing. For our entrees I got the short rip bolognese style pappardelle and my husband for the chicken parm, which comes STUFFED with a black pepper ricotta. Both were honestly unbelievable. My short rib was fall apart tender and flavorful, the bolognese sauce was hearty with the in house pasta was perfect. The pearl onion added a nice texture and flavor as well. His parm came with a citrus pasta that seemed like an odd choice but they really went together very nicely. For dessert, GIANT slices of some epic cheesecake on a killer crust. Well done Pazzo and Tristan, we will definitely be back!!

I have been dining out in Naples for 12 years and finally had the privilege of dining at Pazzo! What an outstanding experience from start to finish. The waiter (I believe his name was Billy D), was an absolute gem. He knew the menu and was happy to recommend items based on his experience. He was attentive and friendly. He was a very large part of this 5 star rating. In addition, the food was outstanding! I ordered the garlic bread, which was incredibly flavorful followed by the the very best chicken parmesano I have ever had. It was filled with a ricotta stuffing and was cooked to perfection. Desert was a combination of Ameretto cream, phyllo dough, and strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries layered like lasagna. A fabulous end to a delicious meal. This restaurant is my new favorite in Naples. I have slept on this restaurant for too long. It’s a ten out of ten!

First time eating at this restaurant. Everything seems fine, busy. We ordered our dinners and they arrived (a little late) after our salads. The salads were ok the dinners were not very good. No meat in the lasagna, cheese did not taste very good. The Alfredo dinner was good (one out of five). We complained about the lasagna and were given two more which we took home. I went to eat one of the lasagna's the next day and thought it wasn't much better than the day before. The cheese was chewier than normal and I almost swallowed it but I thought twice about it and pulled out a whole finger of a glove in the lasagna. Pictures below. I tried to call the owner but he never returned the call. So I'm posting on Google and hopefully he will make the changes required to fix Pazzo's. I would definitely not eat there again.

I'll start by saying that the food was fabulous. I started my night waiting for my friends at the bar, the bartender was super nice to me and said that the system had fallen and that credit card payments would have to be manual. When my friends arrived she took my payment by filling out the manual payment form.

We met at the table for dinner, we were one couple and then 4 separated individuals at the time of paying the bill.

The waiter had an arrogant attitude. He even were rude to the bartender while I was seating there, she expressed "I think that is rude" To me sincerely it seems terrible that people who have no sense of service employed themselves as waiters, if they do not like to socialize they should get another type of job.

I work in customer service and I know there are difficult clients, but that's not the case this time.

The waiter came to tell us that he would not accept separate payments, that he would only accept one single payment and that we should figure it out ourselves, one of my friends who came from New York had no cash on her, neither did I, so we told him that we needed to pay with credit card. The guy began to verbally attack my friend including in his comments "go back to where you came from" seemed out of place. My friend asked the manager to come to the table to talk to him. The manager came straight to her with an unprofessional aggressive attitude, it was totally unacceptable behavior from the manager that said we can call who ever we want and that his name is NICK. He started to tell her that they didn't want her to ever come back to the restaurant, and now he lashed out at us in a totally rude way. It is a sadness that people who do not have pride in their job, do not mind giving a bad time to someone who is enjoying a good time with friends. Honestly, someone has to do something in this restaurant to train its staff. Very sad that a restaurant with good food I have to give the worst score for the nonsense of its employees. We will never return to this place, An I will recommend if you decide to go you be award of the bad behavior and probably ended with...

Bait and Switch!

Be aware of a devious tactic used by Pazzo restaurant in Naples. As many restaurants in Naples do, Pazzo advertises a 50% discount on entrées between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. I telephoned for a reservation a few days in advance and discussed at length all of the conditions for the early dinner discount, concluding with a request for a reservation for the early dinner discount, with us being available anytime between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. I was offered a 5:30 pm reservation for our party of seven.

We arrived at 5:15 pm and were told by the front of house manager to wait until our reservation time of 5:30 pm. We checked at their desk again at 5:25 pm and were told by the front of house manager to wait just a few more minutes, which seemed odd considering there were numerous large unoccupied tables in view.

We were seated at 5:30 pm and clarified with the waiter at that time about the menu items that qualify for the 50% early discount. We were told that the discount ended at 5:30 pm!! Ensuing discussions with the waiter were interrupted by the front of house manager who explained that we were too late for the discount and that the 5:30 pm reservation did not qualify us for the discount.

This Bait and Switch deception was deceitful and self serving. The manager took an intractable position and denied any wrongdoing. Ethical failure of a business is the first sign of its downfall and closing. Be aware.

Misleading bait and switch business tactics are regulated via the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, a set of laws that protect Florida consumers from deceitful business operations. Our best response was to not give this restaurant our business at any price, by leaving. There are many, many other better restaurants in Naples that honor...

One of the worst $100 a head services I’ve experienced. Food was excellent, service abysmal. Our party of two were promptly seated arriving three minutes prior to our reservation. Water came about ten minutes after we sat down. Billy D. Our server shortly after that, pitching us bread. Had to insist on a drink order before he ran from the table. Bread arrived, Billy returned another 10 minutes after with drinks, only to comment how poor it looks to be served bread before a drink. At that point we ordered apps and entrees. Didn’t see him again for a half hour plus until halfway through the meal, bearing Parmesan. Ordered another drink, did not receive it. Bus boys brought the apps, the entrees, not so much as a check in, let alone first bite from our waiter. After forgetting the second round, he came by asking about dessert to which we refused. Asked him to cancel the second drink as we were nearing the end of our meal. He comped the second round (which we received a half hour after ordering, and an hour after sitting down) I was less than impressed. Horrendous service from a bs server that claims he’s been there six years and everything on the menu is the best thing on it. Wouldn’t consider returning for a full refund. Extremely disappointing service. The food although excellent, could not make up it.

Update: Pazzo! Called offering a $100 gift card in an attempt to make up for the poor service. Nice woman, said it would take up to 48 hours to be sent via email. Over a week later, and...
