Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Nashua

Update 7/23/24: The manager of this location has reached out to us. After speaking, we were giving an opportunity to come back and try again. This time was fantastic 😊

Food, drinks, all quick and correct. Our server was awesome, hopefully you get Alexis too.

After this, we plan on trying it again in the near future.

Original 7/20/24: My husband and I usually live AppleBees's. The other evening, we decided to try a new location. This one. Things started out great.

Our server was kind, and in the beginning, attentive. After a few minutes looking over our menus, we had decided on what we wanted. My husband got the drink with the multiple pours and I got one the cocktails in frozen form.

My husband ordered the big bacon cheeseburger. I ordered the strawberry salad. I specifically asked for no almonds. I have a couple cracked teeth in the back, and wanted to enjoy my food, not worry about stabbing my self.

We also decided we wanted the quesadilla appetizer.

When I say this place was NOT busy, it would be an understatement. There were definitely people there, but not to the point that our needs were ignored.

First, it took 35 minutes for a burger w fries, a salad, a quesadilla, and another order of fries to come to our table.

Ok, fine. The extra order of fries were for me to go with my salad. As we just got our food, our server came and checked on us. At that moment everything was fine.

My husband and I laughed a little, ate a few french fries. Excitedly, I pull my salad towards me.

There are almonds everywhere. I mean ALL over my $16 salad. I can't eat this. By now, we've been there for an hour, it's 9:30 @ night, and I worked all day. I was starving. However the almonds are shaved, so they are thin and the same color as the chicken.

I was NOT GOING TO SPEND 10 MINUTES PICKING NUTS OUT IF MY SALAD. I also was not going to send it back so that the kitchen staff could do something disgusting to it.

It obviously didn't matter enough the first time to get it right, now I would be insulting to them. No thanks.

So I ate some quesadilla, but I wasn't really even digging being there anymore.

Our server came back as my husband is as finishing his food. We asked for a box for my untouched salad and the check.

Not once did she ask if there had been something wrong with it for a $16 salad to sit there untouched while a quesadilla was eaten in it's place.

As she placed the box and the check down, I let her know, "Hey I didn't eat this because it had almonds on it." Her response was oh I wrote it on the order. The kitchen didn't pay attention."

No, the kitchen, the sous, and you Ms Server didn't pay attention. It went thru 3 of you before hitting my table. And you all didn't care.

So I did not eat that night. And I waited 2 more days after that for the almonds to get soft. Finally, 3 days later, I can eat my food.

Needless to say, I will NEVER be going back to this location. I'm not gonna waste my time, gas, money, and energy going to a place that just doesn't care about me. What's the point of going to a restaurant? I can mess up my own food for free.

I will be telling my friends and family that if you go here, triple check your food, do not trust staff, and pick something that doesn't take forever to cook, or you'll be there all night. Plus...

I placed my order through the app mobile ordering and had requested it to be ready 2 hours out at 8:30pm. When I picked it up it was cold as ice. It deftly did not get cooked and ready by the time I put, almost positive they cooked it when I placed the order because there is no way it would have been that cold otherwise. I eat on the go all the time and if it were cooked within the hour it would be Luke warm, but this was cold cold cold. They did not give me 1 of my children's drinks for their kids Meals. It was already late, past my children's bedtime and we had to be up real early the next morning to get back on the road. So I did not call and ask them to replace it cause I was not going back out that night, it was the end of my night after driving for over 20 hours so I just didn't even eat my dinner. Nor was I gonna ask to come back another time and get it because it was a few hours away from where I live and we were only there to sleep at the hotel for about 5 hours before getting back on the road. I got food for myself and 3 children so it wasn't like I paid $10 and it's no big deal, my bill came to almost $50 and I couldn't even eat mine. The reason why we chose applebee's is because my family loves loves loves applebee's. We've never had a bad experience at applebee's, but there's a first for everything. We usually go inside and sit down and eat and all of our waitresses have been amazing. But this applebee's I don't have one single good thing to say about. The employees were not the nicest, the food was nasty, well the food that we actually did get correctly. It's not like I ever have to go back here again because we're just traveling through so, Oh well my loss. 😥😥😥 I do have to say, we were all so very disappointed, when I told my children we were getting applebee's, they were so excited, singing, dancing,laughing because they love applebee's. My daughter cried herself to sleep cuz her brother got a drink and she didn't. My oldest son couldn't even eat his and was in a very bad mood until he fell asleep. Not the end result I was looking for. After such a long day, I just wanted to put a smile on my children's face and instead made them...

For me Applebees was my favorite restaurant until today, everything that happened was very degrading.

All my employees go to that restaurant very frequently after work, but after I tell them about my experience I highly doubt they will want to go back. and for me it will be the last time.

When we arrived the man who greeted us and took us to the table was very nice. The problem started with the waitress, first we tried to order something from the all you can eat meal menu and the waitress told us that it couldn't be done because they no longer had Shrimp, I said ok that's fine. My family had told the waitress what they wanted to order and I needed a little more time to look at the other menu because what because what I wanted they supposedly didn't have it, and she told me that she would be back but it might take a while. seemed strange to me but I told her ok it's fine. We also ordered an appetizer and they didn't bring us the small plates to share, we were 6 people and they only gave us 3 sets of forks, when the food arrived I told the waitress to please give me an extra forks and she told me that they didn't have any, I was like so I'm supposed to eat with my hands or something. and at the end the table that was next to us ordered what I tried to order at the beginning and the waitress told me that they no longer have it and guess what? well for them there was.
