Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Let me explain a thing or two about this Dunkin Donuts / Baskin Robbins location to you. At 2.8 stars, the reviews don't begin to explain how frustrated the people around here are for all the wrong reasons.

You don't go to mixed-use fast-food coffee shops / dessert joints for quality, you go for the experience. Let me tell you, as a traveler for work from Atlanta, the experience was second to none. With questionable cars in the parking lot (I'm looking at you, dude with the white Accord coupe that says "coochie coupe" on the back window. we all know you don't pull coochie), constant sarcastic banter with the employees, and the best milkshake I've had in months, I would come back.

James was the 🐐 this dude made the broken-down hot sauce machine work in his favor. Hot sauce not hot enough to drizzle? No worries, here's some toppings on the bottom of the cup, and more on the top of your two scoops. And my milkshake? Man, I'd drive five hours again for that milkshake made by James.

The shiFt leader, Rylan, was absolutely killing it in the background. Dude was handling the drive through, ran orders out to waiting customers, and even cleaning the donut cases... even cleaning the morning shifts' leftovers they hid behind the pull-up banner because I guess they're too lazy to actually do it? I don't even know, I've never been here before.

No one spoke to me the whole time I waited to get service. A young Caucasian boy with acne acted as he was busy but as soon as a family of 4 come in, Caucasian as well... he was so happy to help. Greeted them at the door, left me standing by the ice cream bar, while he began getting the family order. I stood in complete shock over what was happening. The two girls working that night was just as worse, but atleast they was working the window! By this time I'm pissed, I waited to see if maybe this little racist kid would come to help after he finished ringing up the family but nope he just stood by the cash register, still not wanting to help the black girl. I walked over to him, and told him I've been waiting to get service. He took my order barely handed me my ice cream almost dropping it. Third time we’ve tried to come by here since moving to the area in August 2020. This time we tried to use the drive thru about 7:30pm (online said open until 8pm and lights were still on). Waited about five minutes with no response, drove around and saw people inside. I was going to pull ahead, park and go inside but then a young girl opened the window and said they were closed. My response was, “oh I’m sorry, online it says you guys are open until 8” to which she huffed and decided to point at the sign on the window with new hours without saying anything. Not wanting to get into a debate about it, I started to pull away at which point I heard her mutter an explicit word. This was it for me. Every experience has been subpar or disappointing.
