I have mixed feelings about my experience buying a dishwasher at Electronics Express. I bought a Bosch dishwasher during the 'free installation' promotion on Feb 1. I had called ahead to ask questions to be sure my purchase would qualify and to know what extras might be required for me to get the free install. All I was told was that I would have to pay for haul-away of my old unit (if desired) and that I would need to buy a new install kit (water line). Imagine my surprise when I am sitting there to buy the unit, and the salesperson informs me there would be a delivery charge. Yes, installation is free but I was being asked to pay for them to deliver it? This is not what I was told on the phone so I asked if I could pick it up to avoid this charge. But the dishwasher wasn't in stock so they were going to order it and let me know when it arrived in about 10 business days.
I wait until Feb 15 and call to inquire about the dishwasher and learn that it's there waiting for me to pick it up. Unfortunately nobody ever called to notify me. I go in to pick it up on Feb 18 and find out that I never should have been told I had to pay for delivery in the first place, which was annoying (was that a ploy to get me to pay more?), but I set up my installation for Feb 20 and left.
The crew arrives and completes the installation, but the dishwasher doesn't turn on. They test my power and verify that it works, it's just something wrong with the dishwasher. They tell me they will log it as being broken, and I should call the delivery center and/or the store in the morning. I make calls on the 21st and learn they don't have the same model I bought available and aren't sure when they can get one in. I am offered their black floor model (identical to what I bought) or told I can pay to upgrade to the stainless model (which they do have immediately available). I call back on the 22nd and am told they cannot get another black one in until March 18, but they are still trying to see if they can locate one at another store in TN.
At that point, I'm angry and go to the store, where the store manager and district manager kindly took care of me, getting me set up with another unit at no extra cost. They were apologetic and told me they wanted to make up for my troubles. I really appreciated this.
Unfortunately, the second delivery experience was also frustrating, because the new crew that came in had been instructed to find out what was wrong with the broken unit, and they kept trying to test the electric cords (which had already been done the week before), one of them even shocking himself and tripping my breaker in the process. When I finally got upset and asked them why they weren't removing the one that was broken and installing the replacement they were supposed to be bringing me, only then did they begin that work. In the end, after setting the unit up and testing that it worked, I asked where the manual was. It was still on the back of the dishwasher - so they had to remove it to pull off the manual and then install it a second time. Overall they were here for 1:20 when it should have been much faster.
I appreciate the Store Manager and District Manager trying to take care of me when I went to the store to complain. But there were so many other issues that I cannot give my experience more than 2 stars...

I needed a dishwasher immediately and most of the ship dates I encountered were more than two weeks delivery. Joe made some calls and found the white Bosh dishwasher that I wanted in their warehouse though at this point I would have settled for another brand in white. He also managed to find a delivery solution for me. Their weekly delivery had already been made and no others expected; however Joe found someone in their company who was making a pickup of some sort and asked for their help with the delivery from the warehouse to the store. Joe was polite, patient and tireless in finding a solution. He definitely exceeded my expectations. I am most appreciative of his efforts in customer satisfaction. ( I would like to suggest that there are those of us who have no desire for a stainless steel appliance. In my case, I live in a historic home where I think that stainless steel would be inappropriate.
