Fox's Pizza Den — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I've been on a quest to find the best Pizza in Nashville, so every week I simply enter a place that serves pizza and order a cheese pizza. My thinking is that if they can make a BOMB cheese pizza then they have good pizza. No need to brace yourselves. Mediocrity is mediocre.

The name of this restaurant is called Fox's Pizza Den. Totally not gonna bash on this place too much because they have served me well enough over the past several months. But..

Mannn… Nothing compares to the very first cheese pizza I recieved from you guys. I wish this review was for that cheese pizza because you could've gotten 4 stars, but out of the 6 or 7 times after the first time I realized that you just serve "Okay" pizza pies.

The first pie I ordered I spoke to a woman. She was awesome! I asked for big floppy New York slices and she made it perfect. Even the crust was delicious which most people don't even attempt to eat. The sauce was fresh and tangy, and the cheese tasted of good quality and was evenly distributed. It was cooked to perfection.

Ever since then it's been quite the opposite. Which saddens me because I was hooked after the first pizza. I tried you guys out again this past friday and the pizza was well mediocre. The dough had the consistency of beef jerky. It was just kind tough. The entire pie sat in a lake of grease. Sorry to give you 3 stars but things just aren't the same.

Compared to your neighbors like Roma Pizza, Sicilian Pizza & Pasta, or E Millanos I'd take your pizza over theirs.

Lastly, if covid19 is a worry for you then enter at your own discretion. Feb 26th when I entered to pickup my pizza ⅔ of the people working weren't in...

This was the worst experience I have had dealing with customer service. My family and I order from here all of the time either through door dash or Uber eats. Their food is amazing. However, their website doesn't give options to add shrimp to a Cajun chicken Alfredo which is what I was trying to do. The site literally says to contact them if you want to change anything. I did just that and they said it was already made. A man boldly told me he will not remake my food and he will not make me a side of shrimp because my food was already made and he has to cook it etc. I mean literally refused to make something work so that I could add shrimp separate. He said "I will not make you another one because I do not want to waste this food." I don't ever leave reviews let alone take out the energy to complain, but this gentleman was not even remotely trying to help when the site told me to call to get anything added to my Alfredo. It's on the menu... but I can't order it... this middle aged man should not be working there and I really hope he's not the manager because he handled it...

Compared to other small pizza joints in Nashville, this place is a dream, eating in, carry out, and delivery. At first glance, the location is impressively clean and pleasant. The dine in area is stylish, and since you can see in the back where they make all the food, you know that the kitchen is just as sparkling as the eating area. The staff there are falling over themselves to cater to your every need and full of great conversation. The owner is almost always there, she is really great to talk to! As far as the menu goes, anything with steak is my favorite. The 13 inch Steak and Cheese hoagie is a particular highlight, much larger of a sandwich than similar places, it's real value for money with amazing flavor too. The lemonpepper wings are also delicious. When I get delivery, the food is always very hot, and gets to my place very quickly, no matter how much I order. I've been eating here for 6 years and I don't have have a negative word to say about my experiences. Thanks Foxes Pizza, cant wait...
