Basic Batch
Our flagship mead: 6 oz pour, 12% alc./vol. This dark wildflower honey is left in the hives until the end of september, which allows the honey to oxidise in the hives, yielding an increase in vitamin and mineral content, and representing a full spectrum of pollens from local tree, shrub & flower nectars. Enjoy a rich, caramel nose and a crisp, dry finish.
Signature Series
Our pride and joy: 6 oz pour, 12% alc./vol. This mead comes from an award-winning light and bright sourwood honey. Harvested in early spring at high elevation on the appalachian trail, this is a single-varietal pollen collected from the blooms of the indigenous tennessee sourwood tree. Enjoy tasting notes of peony, rice chex, and a hint of anise.
The Beast
Our meadmaker's choice: 3 oz or 6 oz pour, 19% alc./vol. Made from a summer-harvested mountain honey with a light, floral flavour and reddish-copper hue, pollinated from a wide variety of early-blooming summer trees, bushes, and wildflowers. The beast mead is aged twice as long as the first two, resulting in a rich and full-bodied mead with a fortified abv.
Lil Batch
The champagne of meads: 12 oz pour, 6% alc./vol. Using the same indigenous sourwood honey responsible for creating our signature series recipe, but by changing the total volume of honey given to the yeast for fermentation yields this bright and refreshing mead that we chill and carbonate. Tasting notes of lemon oil, golden delicious, and morning rain.
Blanc De Nit, Conca Del Riu Anoia

What happens when you combine three of the best things in this world? Beer, Tacos and Jazz. Well, in the humble opinion of this chef, taco ambassador, certified Mexican, passionate about music and beer taster this place has become my quintessential happy place. But it's not just having a great product made with local ingredients and talent, that's not enough, customer service is exceptional. The guys at the bar are literally smiling the whole time and explaining their product to you, this is the only mead distillery in Nashville, possibly the entire state. The food is authentic (and I mean it) completely authentic Mexican cuisine (possibly the only 100% original) in the entire city. The service is THE plus of this comfortable place, you return because the food and the mead give you a smile to the soul. This place simply has the best trio (food, drink and music).

Two words: Delicious mead. Their different flavors ranged from dry to sweet, so you'll find something to suit every drinker's palette. The space is welcoming and cute. The staff were nothing short of delightful to be around. We ordered two flights so we could try all of their specialty meads and all of their seasonal meads. I liked most of what we tried. My husband's favorite was the Pineapple Sage, which was on the drier side. I liked their Vanilla Chai (hot, poured over honey) and Bouquet Toss meads the best--those were both sweeter. We ended up taking home a bottle of Bouquet Toss because it we both enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good drink in an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere. P.S. Shout-out to Seth for recommending this place to me when we randomly talked at a local liquor store.

My first experience trying mead at Honeytree Meadery was nothing short of exceptional! As a newcomer to mead, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about mead, taking the time to educate me about its rich history and unique flavors. The taste of their meads was a revelation – each sip was a journey of complex and delightful flavors. From traditional honey meads to innovative fruit-infused varieties, Honeytree Meadery offers an impressive range that caters to diverse palates. I left with a newfound appreciation for mead and a desire to explore more of their offerings. If you're looking for a place to discover the world of mead, Honeytree Meadery is the perfect destination. 🍯🍷👏

If I could give this place 11/5 starts I would.

This is simply the most divine concept to grace East Nashville since...ever! Right when you walk in the entire team makes a point to greet you together, making you feel immediately warmly welcome. During the cold, cold months of winter, this hello will feel even more appreciated, coupled with the warmth of a chalice of lovely mead.

The owner Ross is so awesome and really knows his stuff. He's been stung so many times that the bee venom has literally fused with blood cells so that his circulatory system runs on both blood and bee venom. It's quite an amazing story. It's helped him become the man that he is today, as well as make some KILLER mead.

Having an owner that's part honeybee, Honeytree knows their stuff. The space is awesome (special shoutout to the patio, one of E-Nash's best) and tastefully decorated with great pieces. Even the bathroom is cheeky. They stay true to their bee-roots.

Come on down to the Honeytree Meadery, where you can sip the ancient brew that was enjoyed so lavishly by Cleopatra, Marc Antony, Socrates, and Ross - half...

This place is fantastic!! We went out for our friend's birthday and really loved all the drinks we had here. I'd never been anywhere like this but will definitely be back. The atmosphere is perfect for a laid back hang out with friends. They have board games, and the fire pit / heated back area is really comfortable!

But I think what really made this night so great was how pleasant the employees were. A special shout out to Cameron? (Sorry, I remember calling you Cam-sandwich and I'm assuming that Cameron is your actual name)

He is so kind and just made our night! I think he's so welcoming and does a great job at explaining what everything is and also just being patient and enthusiastic. We could tell he really loves his job and it's refreshing to visit a place where you don't feel like a bother for asking questions or taking a little bit longer to order. We will...
