Everything was Awesome!! Got the chairman, a veggie wrap, the lavender chamomile tea, and a mocha latte. The presentation is great, delivered wrapped in paper to minimize waste; the food is fresh and very tasty; the coffee has a bold, full-bodied, delicious flavour. You can actually get healthy, delicious food, and not have to settle for the fried food and burgers that seem so popular in Nashville. Highlight of the veggie wrap: perfect amount of raw white onion, and fresh sprouts. Highlight of the Chairman: the combo of the perfectly cooked beef and bacon, with turkey cold cuts, and the perfect amount of raw white onion. You can get something that tastes better than most of the American style fare here, and it's actually not excessively unhealthy. 10/10 for sure!! Will order again, and again, and again!

Madtown Coffee in Madison, Tennessee offers a delightful culinary experience. Their Avocado Toast is a perfect blend of creamy avocado, crisp toast, and flavorful toppings, creating a harmonious balance of textures and tastes. Pairing it with their expertly crafted Americano, I was treated to a rich, smooth coffee flavor that complemented the dish perfectly. The atmosphere at Madtown Coffee is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a satisfying brunch or a great cup of coffee in Madison, Madtown Coffee is a must-visit destination.

I don’t understand why this place has such a good review. Its very disappointed. Food tasted like it was 5 weeks old. We ordered avocado toast and pastry. The toast was cold, dry and very hard to chew. Coffee was very bitter and it took them 10 min to prepare it. The price was way too high for the items we got: $25 for two small bitter coffees, cold and hard to chew avocado toast and an old dry pastry. Also the place was not the most comfortable. Outside were chairs facing busy roadway and a parking lot … see pictures. We wanted to leave as soon as we could but the service was very slow.

Walked in, stepped up to the counter with no greeting, had to find the menu myself (it is on the counter. They have some of the items up on the wall but just the names, no description or price) and as soon as I took my first look at the menu on the counter i hear a voice ask “do you know what you want?”… no “welcome” or “good morning” or anything. Just immediately rushed to order when it wasn’t even busy. We order our food and drinks and sit down. Coffee was bitter, we weren’t asked if we wanted our drinks sweetened or not. We weren’t asked if we wanted our pastries warm or not. We got up to get our food and they forgot the cinnamon roll, we asked for it and that is when they asked if we wanted it warmed up. Side note: the menu says “homemade cinnamon roll”. It is most definitely NOT homemade. Buying store bought cinnamon roll dough and popping it in the oven does not make it homemade. We finally have a seat with all our items and i realize that I am practically sweating. Why is it hotter in here than it is outside??? The door isn’t open which means it’s hot because they don’t have AC. I know times are hard for small businesses right now and being a business owner is not easy. I saw the previous replies about having less waste but there are other cafes who do that and still offer better food and better service. Please try to listen to the critics instead of getting defensive. There was a comment from the owner saying that part of the reason the prices are set the way they are is to account for the plant based alternatives they have. Fine but i didn’t order the plant based alternative so why am i paying for it? It’s a cute cafe idea but...

My wife and I tried this place this afternoon. We ordered 2 coffee’s, avocado toast and an egg veggie wrap. The coffee was ok. The food was not. I paid $10 for 1 piece of bread with 1/4 of an avocado a sprinkle of dry feta cheese and 4 strands of pickled red onion. I am talking about 1 slice of sandwich bread size toast. There was nothing else on it, no butter, salt, pepper or seasoning of any kind. It was supposed to have sprouts on it but was told they were out of sprouts for the toast and my wrap after they had made the food. The service was very slow even though there were no other orders being prepared at that time. My wrap was much the same, $11.00 for 1 egg, 2 slices of tomato, 3 leafs of spinach and a sprinkle of cheese. No other flavoring provided. Our order was $35 + a generous tip. I feel like I was taken advantage of and that I threw $40+ in the trash. Don’t eat at this place if you want to feel like you received something for your hard earned dollars. I guess that’s what we get for trying...

The guy that was working the counter was rude. Just because someone is young doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exhibit good customer service in their job. I said hello instead of being greeted when I came in, I wasn’t asked “how can I help you” or anything similar, I said I had a to go order and he checked the system then walked over to the bag a few feet away, picked it up and dropped it right back on the counter kind of harshly still not speaking to me, I thanked him and got no response not a “you’re welcome” “thank you have a great day” nothing!!

Then the food was meh. It was very bland and had no seasoning! You need salt with eggs and avocado. The bacon was like beef jerky and in big strips so once you bit into a puce it wouldn’t rip off, you have to eat the entire piece. Chop up the bacon so people get it in every bite. Also, why was it so jerky like and some pieces kind of grey? Not worth $13 at all.

Not to mention about an hour later I got sick on my long road trip, so this should be...
