I LOVE this McDonald's for 5 Things It DOES NOT Do!
My family stops by this McDonald's multiple times every week, almost exclusively for beverages, but sometimes for a MEAT + BISCUIT at breakfast, and the occasional burger.
I'm giving it a 5/5 based on all other McDonald's I've used in Nashville. This review is exclusively about service, not food (except for coffee) for obvious reasons--it's all the same, unless it isn't, and then it gets a mention. And, yes, I'm sure sometimes everything in this list does happen, but for God's sakes, IT'S MCDONALDS!
Here are my 5 reasons to love the Hillsboro McDonald's for all the things it DOES NOT do wrong!
Rude and Surly. This location is awful. I pulled in this morning at 5am to a pitch black McDonald's with no lights on outside. I planned on just driving through and exiting the other side but saw employees moving around inside. Pulled up to a window and the female manager just stares at me like, what do you want!? She finally opens the sliding window and rudely just says, YES? I reply that I was wondering what time you open. She says at 5am (it's already after 5am and there's no lighting on outside at all.) I back up to the drive up window and wait another 5 minutes for the same woman to ask me what do you want? ZERO politeness at all. I'm not knocking on the door to your house. You chose to work at McDonald's! You're surprised and surly when people come wanting food!? After paying for the food she brings it to the window and just hands it to me without saying anything at all. I ask for a receipt (since she never offered one) and she stormed off like it was the most unreasonable request. Comes back and hands it to me without saying a thing. Unbelievable! If you hate working there and hate customers so much then quit! You're not doing us any favors by gracing us with your...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's in the country that I have ever been too. The employees are disrespectful to the customers and each other. Myself and several other customers waited on our food all of us commiserate how never has a McDonald's fallen so far under the expected customer satisfaction. The only part of the restaurant that seemed to work was the drive thru. As we all waited for our food on the inside the customers in the drive thru got top notch service. The older lady who was bagging the food for the drive thru kept snapping at the young man in a white shirt and tie. No employee wanted to step up to help the customer's on the inside. The older lady kept yelling to us that we needed to use the kiosk. But the kiosk requires a credit card which I didn't bring in with me. I am so happy that I was traveling so that next time I come to town I will know ahead of time not to stop there. Poor service left a bad taste in my mouth. My daughter said, when she asked for Jelly they told her they had already...
