Plantation Pub — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Was treated not that good, I was lied to my face, and I was told when I was on my vehicle by the waitress to dont come back. I have been going to this place for a while and never had any issues. Today was a completely different experience. I did not leave the waitress a tip as she just lied to me in my face twice and got mad at me when i cath her on the lie. She told me when I was getting on my car, "dont come back." I can't believe she told me that. That is really a bad thing to say to a customer who has not done anything wrong but just shows you that you just lied to me, and I caught you on the lie right on the spot twice. Was not me, was you. Maybe all this was due to my race? Who knows, but it seems like it was. The table next to me as the same thing I did, and they did not have any issues, and we're help after me for the same exact request, but guess what, different...

Cozy neighborhood bar. I needed a place to watch the Titans and get a bite, which led to my first visit to The Plantation Pub since folks from The Alley took over the space. This is a much lighter, brighter place than it's cousin, and a little classier; and nestled in a respectable neighborhood, it should be.

Good selection of beer on tap, and more in the display style double door cooler behind the bar. Food looks to be pretty standard bar fare. I had the brisket sliders; their sauce is a good find. I know they run the smoker on Fridays for specials, but I'm not sure if they run the brisket more often... I would hope so, since it has kind of a starring place on the menu.

We'll be back. Nice to have a little non-smoking...

I was with a small group. Waiter was very attentive without hovering, and our orders came from the kitchen in a reasonable time. Had the catfish basket which was 3 medium-sized filets that were very good, a decent helping of fries, coleslaw, and 2 hushpuppies. The hushpuppies were a bit overcooked and had some spice in them that left a lasting burn in my mouth, but I'm one of Those People who doesn't like spicy food that much. A member of the group ordered a pizza which looked good (and she said it was). VERY loud with music BLASTING in a place that is not very big, making conversation difficult without yelling in each other's ears. If that's your thing, you might...
