We always eat in back family area where you can eat and talk loud. Affordable dining for the whole family with an array of choices! (That review was 3 yrs old and still holds true).
Denny's is an affordable sit down family restaurant. A steady ready restaurant even thru the craziest time of the pandemic. I miss the Indian Mgr who always knew us the minute he saw us and could tell me my order before I ordered it. Wherever u are, your d best!🏆
Anyways, especially on a late evening meal when everyone else is closed, this is our go to spot. It's convenient and not as crowded as other Denny's in the general area (my opinion).
If you haven't tried the Mango Lemonade, it's yummy. Not too sweet & not too sour. Just ✅ right. The orange tea is smooth and delicious.
My son literally gobbled up the Bourbon Burger while hubby ate every bite of the Cali Club sandwich (with onion rings...they're really good)!
I like breakast for dinner sometimes. I really enjoy the Veggie Omelette meal (comes with toast). I added a side order of mashed potatoes w brown gravy. Whoever the cook was who did my omlette last nite was specially creative. I've never had the omlette look so extra! So kudos to the cook! Light, fluffy, and topped off with veggies. Delicious! It's a two meal adventure!
To go, my daughter ordered an Ultimate Omelette with egg whites and white cheese (and they did just that. Wow!)
I wanted to add that the server was very attentive especially before it got super crowded. I didn't have to ask for extra napkins. She gave us the hot sauces without asking.. She checked on us many times throughout our elongated meal. I mentioned to hubby, tip her well! A staple of an outing for our family!

We stopped by Denny’s in Sweetwater today for a quick lunch, and to be honest, I was a little hesitant. Our last visit left us a bit disappointed—the place had a musky, almost beer-like smell, and the vibe was just off. But this time? It was a complete 180!
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a bright, clean, and energetic atmosphere. The air smelled fresh, and the vibe was inviting. The person at the door welcomed us with a warm smile and a great attitude, setting the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic dining experience.
We were seated in a cozy and comfortable booth, and the noise level was just right—lively but not overwhelming. The staff was buzzing around, helping guests with efficiency and care. Our drinks came out super fast, followed closely by our order, and everything was on point.
The Food? Absolutely Delicious. I went for the triple burger on artisan bread, and it was juicy and flavorful. The nachos were perfectly crunchy and fully loaded, and the chicken noodle soup tasted freshly made—comfort in a bowl. To top it off, the brownie sundae for dessert was rich, gooey, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Shoutout to the Amazing Staff Our server, Elian, was outstanding. Despite managing several tables, he was attentive, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was just right. And kudos to the general manager, Mario, who was walking around, checking in with guests, and maintaining a respectful and friendly presence. His leadership was reflected in the smooth, positive energy of the entire team.
Final Thoughts? We’re Definitely Coming Back! It’s safe to say that this Denny’s has turned things around. This was our second visit to the Sweetwater Denny’s. The first time, we were greeted as soon as we walked in, which made a great first impression. This time, it took about five minutes for anyone to take our name for the waitlist. The restaurant was noticeably busy, but it would’ve been nice to be acknowledged by the hostess while we were standing there.
After waiting about 15–20 minutes in the waiting area, our server, Iztac, approached us and let us know our table was almost ready—which was a bit unusual, since that’s typically the hostess’s role. However, he was very professional and made us feel welcome.
Once seated, Iztac truly stood out. He was super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. My mother-in-law is lactose intolerant, and he was able to confidently let us know which items contained dairy and even suggested alternative sauces. That kind of service is rare and appreciated.
We ordered the Triple Juicy Burger, and it lived up to the name—cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The coffee was hot and fresh, and all the food came out together, which we appreciated. Iztac checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
As we were paying, the manager, Mario, came by to ask how everything was. He even knew what we had ordered, which showed he’s truly involved and cares about the customer experience. He was polite, professional, and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job.
Maricela, the cashier, was energetic and friendly—she made the checkout process smooth and pleasant.
