No se separan del hueso como en otros lugares y es algo que prefiero. Me gusta poder morder arrancar un pedazo y disfrutar el sabor. El sabor ahumado está presente no solo en las costillas pero en las rebanadas de pavo ahumado que probamos. Las habichuelas cambiaron un poco al no ser igual de dulces. Para mi, mejoraron. El pan de maiz fue esponjoso y delicioso.

Update 2022-02-19. Two years ago I visited and tasted the best ribs till that moment. Things haven't changed, ribs are still excellent. They don't pull out of the bone like others places. That's something that I prefer. I like biting the chunk and enjoying the flavor that comes out. The smoked flavor is present not only in the ribs but in the turkey that we had. The baked beans changed a bit as they were not as sweet. To me, that was an improvement. The cornbread was spongy and delicious.

Original post Nice ribs. Visited Busey Brews for lunch. Our server was good and friendly. I got the pork ribs with the baked beans and green chile. The green chile was on the thinner side, more like a broth. It was flavorful with a little heat and several spices and chunks in it. The baked beans looked like a bean salad. It was a visual delight. They were a tad sweet and had some heat. They were not in a sauce like other baked beans which to me is not a negative. The delight is not just visual. What a great find! We had a particularly good meal and fabulous service here, will definitely be coming back! Our server Kylie was just awesome! Super helpful, quick and so friendly! The manager Josh also checked in with us and we had a great talk, wonderful folks who love the food biz! My kinda people! When the food arrived it looks so incredible that I forgot to take pictures, darn it! I’ll take more next time. I hate it when that happens! The general theme is smokehouse, and everything was cooked beautifully! We had the Prime Rib French Dip and the Club Sandwich and they were great, particularly the meats! The house smoked turkey on the club sandwich was incredible and it was finished with a sun dried tomato aïoli, it was just perfect! The French dip was even better in my opinion because of the meat; that smoked prime rib was juicy, incredibly flavorful and as tender as could be. I had it with spicy giardinara (homemade I think) and horseradish cream, didn’t even dip the sandwich, it was perfect as is. I chose the side salad for two dollars more, it was fabulous! My grandson loves noodles but doesn’t like macaroni and cheese, so they just made him some plain noodles with butter and he was so happy! Drinks! The house made beer list was incredible, my son was thrilled with his Pale Ale and there were a surprising number of great beer choices on the list. We were in the Nederland area and were hungry. It has been a number of years, and we discovered our old spot, Neapolitan's, closed.

We set out to find another spot. We found parking after about 20 minutes of looking and walked down the street to Busey Brews Smokhouse & Brews. We were greeted by the hostess and opted to sit in the back area behind the bar.

Just for clarity, they have seating on the front porch, in by the bar area, behind the bar area and downstairs.

Note, they are a cashless restaurant, but you can pay with cash if you choose.

After you are seated, you scan a QR code to order drinks and food. If you are paying by cash, just advise so and flag someone down to order for you. Order via QR code and paying via a secure paying method are definitely the desired approach.

I will say that everyone working here was friendly, and customer service-oriented.

We ordered the wings, salad, and spicy sausage sandwich - which came with coleslaw.

The food took a while to arrive, which surprised me. I had the sausage, and it was a tad spicy, but not too hot. The coleslaw was good, but a little too liquidity for me. Both were good.

The wings were good, and so was the side salad ordered.

We did not order any beer, as we still had another hour to drive.
