We visited right before the owner was about to close. I could tell he was a bit pensive. He asked what we were looking for & we told him we weren’t sure yet. My daughter wanted to buy something with her vacation money.
Fortunately, we found just the right thing for her, a camping hammock. It was reasonably priced within her budget AND he threw in some nylon string so she could use it right away which made her day.
It was clear to me that this man was a true salesman. He didn’t want you to have to spend too much time in the store which during these COVID-19 times seems perfectly reasonable. He knew his merchandise & if you told him what you needed he would just go grab it for you.
Perhaps the last negative reviewer misunderstood his forwardness for rudeness? Honestly, I can see why shopkeepers are so concerned right now. If not their own health, your health, & the fact that people aren’t making purchases like they used to. Combine all those issues & I would be the same way.
