Yknow, I very rarely get angry enough to actually give a bad review, but here we are. Many and many times again, I've just had nothing but bad experiences with this Popeyes. Between always forgetting at least one thing in every single mobile order I've placed, to just not giving a single heck about customer service, the employees are just awful. Sure, they're kind of nice and know how to smile when they obviously don't want to, but I genuinely think they lack competence. Today, I recieved stale food that had obviously been sitting out for a while, and yes, I do understand, it was towards the end of the night, my bad for even coming in, I guess. When I walked in, two employees were chatting amongst themselves in the lobby. I assumed they were on break, so I didn't bother them. I waited at the counter for about five minutes before anyone even came to acknowledge me, and when I saw someone come from the back, I excitedly announced the order I was picking up. Presumably the manager, or maybe someone else, didn't even say anything to me, they just got onto the two employees in the lobby, which I quickly learned, were not on break, but actually on the clock. My order had been sitting on the printer the entire time, even though I had ordered on the app ten minutes ago, and I watched as they grabbed it and asked me if it was my order, despite me already telling them it was. The food itself was terrible too. They were nice enough to get me the exact pieces of chicken I wanted, so at least I was able to enjoy that, but I never thought I'd experience a stale Popeyes biscuit until today. The popcorn shrimp I recieved was nearly all only breading with a whiff of seafood, and the fries were so dry, I was genuinely surprised that they could even get to that state. It's pretty clear that the food I recieved was either past it's time to be thrown out, or was just the last pickings of whatever was left for the night and they didn't want to make any more. Read moreAt this point, I will not eat at Popeyes anymore. The expierience I had was not pleasant. I came to order 6 hot buttery biscuits. I requested extra butter on my biscuits as I have requested and recieved at other Popeyes locations in the past. As the person over the intercom was talking to me then another very assertive voice intercepted over the intercom and proceeded to state that she refuses to honor my request of adding extra butter to the biscuits. I asked her why is she refusing to honor my request as I am willing to pay an extra fee for this service. She explained it was not healthy and if "I got sick then I could sue!" I was a bit taken back because I had never been told that before at any of the Popeye's locations I've visted this past week and I explained it to her . She did not budge and was very adamant that she would not give me biscuits with added butter. I asked for her name and she said Latrice then she took the initiative to also give me the general manager's name but I cannot remember what the name is however. To sum it all up, I am not just upset with this experience but other customer service experiences at this location. I don't feel that the manager wanted to make me a satisfied customer. She did not provide an alternative like asking me if I wanted the extra butter on the side. This way adding whatever amount of butter would be at my leisure. I went further and cold one of the stores I had bought biscuits from earlier this week. I spoke to the manager at the University Boulevard location and she told me that she would have honored my request and she has never heard of anything like this in the policy for Popeyes store. I ordered through door dash (My dasher/ nor door dash were the problem). about 1 hour and 30 mins pass and I thought to myself "hey food isn't here yet" I look at my phone and my dasher sent me a message that the worker notified her that I would have to choose a substitution for my tenders being that they did have any. (weird being that they pride themselves on chicken). I ask her if I could just switch to regular chicken or whatever, I honestly was not bothered being that I was on break and hungry. Once the dasher who was super awesome ask the lady at the register my substitution options she went off on the dasher "that's not what you do, if she wants something else than you can cancel and re order" I thought that was not only rude being that she is speaking to the dasher and I that way but because the inconvenience is due to her. I asked if she could cancel it because I wanted my money back and she said "that has nothing to do with me you can call door dash and figure that out with them" I didn't waste my time arguing with her being she is not worth that amount of my time but best believe I will write a review and email your store and the company. Thanks to door dash for the kindness and I will never waste my money on a place like this for service like this ever again!
