Luigi's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Neptune Township

This should have been a 5-star review and I'll say that if you simply walk into the restaurant and order a pie, chances are, it's going to be one of the best you ever had.

However, there was a rather frustrating problem with the online order that I placed this weekend. I went to the restaurant landing page and a coupon came up for 10% off the order. Problem is, the coupon never applied. Now, I tried it on my iPhone so just to be fair, I just went to place a test order a few minutes ago on my desktop computer and the same coupon was offered but it would not accept at checkout.

The restaurant needs to fix this. Pronto. Because, something like that just irritates people. It also cuts into the tip that you may not receive because customers weren't able to save the money they were promised.

Ordered a Chicken Parmesan Specialty Pie online even though we couldn't get the promised discount. It was ready when promised. We took it home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pie was exceptional with nice chunks of chicken and a really tasty sauce.

We will be back because the pie was THAT GOOD. It is just my hope that the restaurant reads this review and fixes the coupon offer so that it can...

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I ordered slices and the customer service was terrible. I felt extremely unwelcomed in this place! My boyfriend and I ordered an Italian sub and planned on splitting it, he didn’t want tomato’s on one half so I told them that and then we sat down for about a half an hour before our sandwiches were delivered and when they were they gave us two sandwiches! I went to the counter to tell them there was a misunderstanding and one lady was on the phone so she asked the other lady to help us and they lady said “I have tables they need to wait” directly in front of us. I’ve worked in customer service for years I know how customers should be treated and it’s defiantly not like that! When I tried to return the sandwich the lady gave me attitude and told me that they can’t take tomatoes off of one half for me and that they had to give me two sandwiches, which would have been fine if they told me that while I was ordering! Honestly, Luigi’s doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I called the day before my daughters 3rd birthday to order 8 pizzas ahead of time for an 11:00 party. I had a missed phone call at 10:38 the day of the party from Luigi’s that I returned 10 mins later. The guy tells me he’s not making/delivering the pizza because he didn’t have workers show up (red flag) and continuously says in a condescending rude tone that he tried to call me earlier to tell me. How is 20 mins before the food is supposed to be delivered calling me early?!? After repeating what he said because I was in such shock that I now have 50 people including many children that will have no food to eat at a birthday party, he doesn’t even apologize. I worked in customer service for almost 10 years and this is certainly not a place that genuinely cares about their customers which should speak volumes about their food.
