Here you will find a liquor and packaged goods store adjacent to the restaurant. I had a banana daiquiri which was delicious! We ordered fish tacos and the be shell fish catch. Both were good portions. The wings were very good, I recommend them. Now being a former Chef here are my thoughts and suggestions. The be shellfish catch was good but their mild spicy may be more than what your accustomed to. The corn was mush! Boiled way too long! Most likely frozen rather than fresh. Use local corn this summer it will be a big hit! This is a favorite part of the boil. Prep should blanch the corn and it should be cooked separate as well as the potatoes. The seafood was a combo of clam, mussel, crawfish, sausage and shrimp. The cherry stone clams were rubbery and hard to chew. I would have gone with a smaller more tasty clam species. As for the spice a pinch less cayenne pepper would be best for mild. I tasted the buttery spicy flavor above that of the seafood. Less is more and in a boil there needs to be a balance. Also there should be an option for just steamed with no seasoning. My wife’s tacos were tasty, though the menu indicated two and we received three. I am not complaining! Usually the fish is broiled or pan seared, ours was deep fried. That should be denoted on the menu description. Always check in on your guests within 5 minutes of the food arriving. Staffers kept passing the table but were only interested in bussing our empty dishes. I would ask to sit at a table other than the back to back booths. People are annoying bouncing into the seat backs and disrupting your meal. We spent over $125 for two people. Three drinks one appetizer and our entrees. This is middle of the road but a good value overall. I will be back to experience some of the other menu choices. If your really hungry and hankering for some seafood give this establishment a try. For those that do not like seafood there are...
Read moreCool place, nice vibe, great staff, a little confusion, but expected because it just recently opened. On-site free parking, this is in a little strip mall, no issues parking on a Friday night around 5:30pm. As u walk in, to the right is a liquor store, kind of a separate area. Restauarant side has a nice sized sports bar, tvs all around. To the left are the booths and tables. We were seated immediately, the place was not too busy. Has a cool vibe, semi-loud music, but you can still hold a conversation without screaming. The food, so good. Crispy calamari was just that, crispy coating and not chewy calamari. It also had some crispy fried breadcrumb-covered jalapeños mixed in that were amazing. I had a dish from the specials menu--clams and linguini. It came with grilled bread (that's not garlic bread in the pic) that was SOO good. It was thin linguini loaded with clams and fresh clams in the shell on top. The linguini was cooked perfect and really buttery/oily, like its probably not healthy but my goodness it was worth every bite. I asked for some parmesan, that I sprinkled on top as well. My husband had a boil bucket with 1/2 lbs each of shrimp, Mussels and snow crab in medium sauce. His only note was he wished it had more sauce in the bag. Just a preference of his--nothing worth taking a star away for. Otherwise he loved it. It also came with adouille sausage, potato and corn on the cob. Service was quick, there wasn't a long wait. All the staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly. I would recommend. We will...
