This is officially my favorite bagel place right now. I loved their variety which you cant find much anywhere else. The blueberry bagel was my absolute favorite and I hate blueberry so that says something that they were able to create a very tasty blueberry flavorful! Impressive. I also tried their french toast bagel,to be honest on that one it was too dry and hard for my taste and i dont know why but i was expecting a subtle amount of syrup to be on the bagels lol but the filling i chose which was walnut raisin cream cheese made it go from a 6/10 to a 9/10! It was the perfect combo and goes well together. I also tried their chocolate raspberry iced coffee and it was self serve so I shouldve added more sugar but the flavor was unique and it was good. I was hoping to try their spicy chai cappuccino next time I go there. Also their dutch chocolate muffin was warm and gooey and moist which is how I like it. I dont recommend getting it grilled though, grill the corn muffin instead. Speaking of corn muffin it was the best one I've ever had anywhere! Didn't even know you can grill a muffin. Worth the price. I'd definitely go back there. The only thing that almost made me not visit this place was the little bagel drawing outside ( personally I dislike it and would've preferred a different graphic design) . For me usually how a place looks from the outside and presented is a factor in whether I go inside or not, it shows me how creative it can be. You can overlook it in this store because inside is where all the variety is at and you won't be...
Read moreSo today, I am running my route through Asbury Park and I decide to stop at the bagel- Talk right here in Neptune. First mistake was I’m a woman in full uniform and a young man calls me a man then he laughs and thinks it’s a joke then I’m standing there waiting on a bagel with a little bit of butter and instead of it being brought to the end like everybody else else’s, it was thrown to the side where the register was when they gave it to me. It’s cold. It’s packed with butter. I than gave it back to them and said that’s not what I asked for young man. He sees me walk away, but I guess at thus point I was the subject of a joke as he walked over to the gentleman making food. I guess I was a part of the joke so he began to laugh with the older guy warming the bagels and felt very uncomfortable. Haven’t been here in a while so I guess I won’t come back and I’ll also let New Jersey transit bus drivers and academy drivers the indigenous people of color are not welcomed here.. just want the look of majority of the workers that they have in the building in the way they looked me up and down and rolled their eyes shows that they don’t want to service someone of color and I don’t understand that this is a business money is the color green but that’s OK. I’ll never go back there again. They’re better places with more room to sit and not be racially discriminated against in Asbury Park so you just lost my money and a few of my...

I called the store to let them know that this is the 2nd back to back occurrence that I have experienced an issue. A very nice lady (I believe the name was Jennifer or Genevieve) was empathetic to the situation and though she knew I got a credit from DD went above and beyond to offer me some sort of coupon for my next order. Now that’s exceptional customer service and has prompted me to change my 2 star to 5 stars! 🙏🏽
The 2 stars are for the poor customer service. I ordered through door dash and I never received the order. I initially called the store and whomever answered the phone said very crass ‘you have to take that up with door dash.’ While I now understand that because I used a 3rd party delivery service to place the order I needed to reach out to door dash to resolve the matter HOWEVER the very least he could have done was sympathize and direct me on how to resolve the matter because at the end of the day it’s Bagel Talk who partnered with door dash to deliver to their customer. I don’t care if the food is good or not; it does not cost to be polite…well I guess it does cause I took my money...
