Wow! Mexican food perfection! I ordered the tostada mixta with octopus and shrimp as well as 4 quesabirria tacos with dipping broth. Every single thing we ate was incredibly delicious. The most impressive thing to us besides the freshness was how every single ingredient was discernable in the dishes. Sometimes a single ingredient will overpower a dish and will obscure the flavors of the other ingredients - not here! Amazing! Even the corn chips were crispy, light, and had just enough oil to fry them. The salsa bar has about ten different salsas and foods. SO fresh, SO delicious and vibrant. With no disrespect meant to the other Mexican restaurants in Nevada County this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant, hands-down.

This is a new family run place. The only thing I’ve had is the Baja fish taco which is exceptional. I also have a wonderful pineapple, cucumber juice that’s not overly sweet.

We found ourselves vacationing in the Nevada City area last week and in our research learned that this spot had good food.
