Was looking forward to this opening. Was supposed to open it seemed like 2 months ago. Went to grand opening on 6/24/22 at the Flamingo location. They had a game resembling plinko. Gave each of us a token to drop. One landed on free water bottle. One landed on free meal. Received coupon for free meal. Did not get the water bottle. When asked, was informed that the prize was for the best out of two. So when mentioned that we were two different people, not family, we were then told it was for each group/car. What a joke. Placed the order for the free meal, there was some confusion on what was ordered. Then when ready to check out, was told there was a balance due. Asked why, it was a free meal. Was told that the sauce that was asked for, wasn't free. So canceled the order and left. I mean, if you are getting a free meal, your getting a free meal. Was not informed ahead of time of that sauce would be a chargeable item.
Went back the next day to try and get free meal. This time did not request any extra sauce. When the order was being made, the tortilla tore. The person preparing the food added an extra tortilla. Which I didn't understand why they just did not remake the order. Now order is wrapped in two tortillas. It was hot outside, so didn't say anything. Picked up my order, which was free, no extra charges.
When order being prepped, they wrap it, send through oven heater?, how are you supposed to get your cilantro, sauces or whatever else, inside the order?
When I got home with my food, the food was breaking open.

Read moreTruly sick! I've ordered from Cafe Rio for years and must have eaten there hundreds of times without an issue. Since they started food delivery, I've also ordered through Uber Eats and have never experienced this. I'm truly disgusted. Not only was an item missing, which is fine, happens, but they sent me the wrong main item that was half-eaten, truly someone's old food. You can see the bite marks; the item has been mostly eaten, even with the used fork left in it. I called the store, and they tried to blame the delivery driver, despite the fact the driver was well-tipped, as I always do, and they had a near-perfect rating with thousands of successful deliveries. The store researched this and found out that an employee had left their food where the orders are to be picked up, in a bag, for whatever reason and had already eaten half the order. So to be clear, Cafe Rio missed an item, happens, sent me an employee’s old half eaten food, and then tried to blame Uber Eats. They said a manager would call to appoligize, but I have yet to get that. Truly sick. I've eaten at cafe Rio hundreds of times and will miss their pork tacos but I am never going...

Pros: The girls were really, great service wise, and providing excellent suggestions and information. I got the bowl and nachos. Both were large portioned for the price. Food was alright. Sweet tasting for the most part.
Cons: they could be a lot cleaner. I would not trust the lettuce of this establishment. I told the dude i didn't want any lettuce with sour cream on it, but somehow, every time he grabbed it with his gloves, residue would be found on it. He even wiped his gloves on his dirty apron several times before attempting to retry for new pieces. I found a dead bug in my lettuce, and some of the pieces of the lettuce seemed concerning in terms of quality and cleanliness. I brought it to the counter and showed the cashier. She proceeded to show it to several coworkers, including the shift lead and manager. They took turns sifting through the lettuce on their station, shrugged, threw the lettuce I had given them away, and then continued to serve the same lettuce to the customers coming in after me without changing it out...
