My husband and I love Chipotle and we were looking forward to the opening. We finally went last night around 7:30 and I can't tell you what an incredible disappointment it was. First, the girl behind the counter making the burritos could not have been any slower. The line wasn't even that long and it took more than 30 minutes to get our order. I've been to many Chipotles and with a line that long I've always been in and out in less than 10 minutes. Second, the guy behind the register wasn't ringing anyone up because she was taking so long to make the burritos and instead of helping her, he just stood there and watched her struggle to get these burritos done. I will say that she was trying hard to make sure she was making them properly, but just way too slow. Third, when I finally had the chance to order my burritos they didn't have barbacoa so I asked for steak and they said I would have to wait for it so I settled for carne asada. Fourth, when she started making my burrito I couldn't believe how small the serving was! One thing Chipotle has always been known for is their fat burritos and the serving for the meat, cheese, guacamole (that I paid extra for) and sour cream was less than half of what they normally serve. I asked her for more and she was kind enough to give me some more, but I know she didn't want to get in trouble so she only gave me a little more. Of course the serving size isn't her fault so I appreciated her being willing to give me more. I also ordered the large order of chips and guacamole and the large chip size is now the small chip size, but you pay the same as the large. Again the guy at the register was kind enough to give me more. And last, the price has gone up on everything even though the serving size is less than half. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the staff was very friendly and the girl making the burritos was very sweet even though she was slow. To me it was obvious the staff was embarrassed about the drastic decrease in serving size because every customer mentioned it and I felt bad for them trying to explain it without getting themselves in trouble. The other reason is because the food still tasted good. I had already heard negative reviews but decided to still give it a chance. As much as we love Chipotle we will never go back. For a burrito and a large order of chips and guacamole it was $26!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. You're better off going to the great Mexican restaurants that are already here. Pahrump is very much a town that supports small business so with how awful this experience was I don't see this Chipotle lasting more than a year before they fail and...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my first time here. I ordered online for pick up, now it being on Christmas eve I called before and the recording had said we are open today and tomorrow so I proceeded to my order. I placed my order for pick up at 3:30pm I showed up a few minutes early and pulled through where it says online pick up. I sat at that window for some time while their workers just stared at me while they are cleaning up inside not saying anything. It takes another car to pull behind me to have a worker come out to tell HIM that there is no drive thru. I pulled around to the front to go inside and the door was locked. Workers inside where eating and cleaning up yelled through the window told me that they were closed I held my phone up told them that I had an order that I paid for how do I get my money back if I can't receive my food. They kept yelling across the restaurant that they were closed I yelled I couldn't hear them to come to the door please. They never opened the door to speak to me and the manager or worker couldn't tell you because again no one wanted to speak with me perfessionly said we are closed and slammed her hand on a sign that was on the door I said than how will I get my refund she said I will get it refunded back when it is processed. Now I know my complaint won't go anywhere but for someone who was excited to try this knew spot in town this is my first experience I won't sit here and say I won't be back because let's be real I will be but I will always have this as a reminder of my first experience. Chipotle do better and I will be waiting for my $91.10 to be refunded back...
Read moreI will start off by saying I have eaten at a lot of Chipotles over the years. I eat there at least twice each week, sometimes more. I found out I am in the top 99.5% of their customers for frequency. Without a doubt, this is my favorite Chipotle. It has a lot to do with the general manager. She runs a tight ship and is very organized. All of her employees are super nice and accommodating. One way I judge a Chipotle is by how fresh and available the food is. The containers they dish it from at all Chipotles are relatively small because it keeps the food fresh and you know it hasn't been sitting around for a couple of hours. They consistently refill with fresh food well before it gets to the bottom. I know some Chipotles let the rice get really low and then scrape it off the bottom of the pans, but not here. It is always fresh and abundant. For those who complain they got too little, order a bowl and go home and dump it on a regular dish. It hardly fits the plate there is so much and its piled high. One of the nice things about Chipotle is you can go in and get exactly what you want if you just go in and order. If there isn't enough corn, just tell them. Want more rice than beans, just tell them. Of course they can't go overboard on the protein before you would need to pay for double but the ratios are up to you on what fits in the bowl. Like all Chipotles, this one took a bit of time to get everything right, but they have got it down now. This is by far the best fast...
