I love Coldstone but I was actually really disappointed with this location. First off, I called 2 days in advance to order a certain cake, the guy was very nice, answered all my questions, told me I didn’t need to order in advance because they have plenty of the type of cake I wanted. Knowing my luck I still asked to have him hold one for me so he took my information and sure enough 2 days later I walk in to pick up the girl had no idea what I was talking about. She seemed high as balls and she also seemed to be working completely alone which is very wrong & dangerous. There were only 2 left of the cake I needed. So of course I’m a bit upset that no one took the time to just make sure what a paying customer asked especially since I’m paying an outrageous amount of almost $50 for cake that is very small. I asked her to write on the cake and this was my biggest issue. She asked me what I wanted it to say then just took it in the back, she didn’t ask me for a certain color or certain spot on the cake or anything. She comes back and says sorry I had to scrambled all the toppings around!!? Like excuse me, so not only am I paying for a cake that you just completely destroyed but the writing was so bad it looked like a blob of a mess that a 5 year old drew. I was so disappointed and embarrassed I had to apologize to the birthday person for how horrible it looked.    Read moreI placed a mobile order for 2 ice creams, 2 of the bigger ones to take home, when I get to the store I'm told they don't have either of the things I ordered and ask me what I wanted to do, 1 of them I changed and the other I asked for a refund. They made the one for me and told me that they can't process refunds, which I later figure out was a lie by the manager, and that I would get a call tomorrow about a refund. I get home, the one ice cream I did order wasn't even fully filled, was not offered anything for my troubles that was their fault, not mine, and then when I get a call I miss it, so I call back, to be told they are too busy to process me a refund and call back, you kidding me?!? So I do, they then say they are to busy again and to ccall back! So I do a third time and am told they are too busy and to call back! End of day comes, no refund, waisted a ton of my time, never got what I asked for, and then I get a voicemail from a manager stating the next day they would refund and compensate me for my time. So I call next day, finally process the refund, but that extra for my time? Never happened. This tops my top 5 for worst customer service ever received.    Read moreHad a very frustrating experience with this location. Must have been a new employee. We order a flavor off their sign and they tell me they don't have that after idling around only for another employee to point to where it is. Okay whatever, waste of time. We finally get to a point where we can pay and the employee doesn't know how to use a giftcard. The giftcard finally works as intended and the register spits out a receipt. The employee starts panicking that the register closed the transaction and she doesn't know what to do. She insists its a register issue and we havent paid yet. The whole time our icecream is sitting on the counter melting. Asks other employees and the solution is to face time their manger for help. The employee unfortunately isn't able to read at a 3rd grade level and understand the receipt. The employee is telling us there wasn't enough money on the giftcard. If they took a second and read they would see the receipt showed the remaining giftcard balance and the transaction was done. We told them this but they wouldn't listen.
