Lucino’s Pizza – A Hidden Gem Serving East Coast Flavor with Vegas Charm
If you’re in Las Vegas and craving authentic, hearty, East Coast–style comfort food, Lucino’s Pizza is the spot that delivers way beyond your expectations. Tucked away from the flashy Strip, this local favorite brings big flavor, generous portions, and unbeatable value — all wrapped up in warm hospitality from the owner, Joey, who truly treats customers like family.
Let’s talk about the food. This isn’t just a pizza place — it’s a full-blown flavor experience.
⸻
🔥 Cheesesteaks
The cheesesteak at Lucino’s is easily one of the best in Vegas. It’s everything you want from a proper Philly-style sandwich — perfectly grilled steak, melty provolone or whiz (your choice), and that soft-but-sturdy hoagie roll that soaks in all the flavor without falling apart. Each bite hits with that savory, juicy satisfaction that’s hard to come by outside of Philly. The portion size is no joke either — this will fill you up, happily.
⸻
🧀 Chicken Parm Egg Rolls
Now these are something special. Imagine a full-on chicken parmesan dinner — crispy breaded chicken, rich marinara, gooey mozzarella — all packed into a crunchy, golden egg roll wrapper. It’s creative, it’s addictive, and it’s a must-order. Served with a side of marinara for dipping, these egg rolls somehow manage to feel both nostalgic and totally new at the same time.
⸻
🔥 Stromboli
The Stromboli is another standout. Loaded with fresh ingredients — pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, and more — wrapped in perfectly baked dough that’s soft inside with a golden crisp outside. It’s massive, so come hungry or plan to share. The seasoning, the texture, the pull of the cheese… everything about it screams homemade and high effort.
⸻
🍗 Chicken Wings
Lucino’s doesn’t sleep on the wings, either. Whether you go classic buffalo, garlic parm, or one of their other flavor options, you’re getting wings that are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and always well-coated in sauce. No soggy mess — just real-deal wings done right, with love.
⸻
🍰 Desserts
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, don’t skip the desserts. Lucino’s offers rotating treats — from classic Italian cannoli to decadent cakes — and they’re all the perfect finish to a heavy, satisfying meal. Ask what’s fresh that day — you won’t be disappointed.
⸻
👨🍳 The Vibe & the Owner
Now here’s what really seals the deal — Joey, the owner. This guy has serious passion for food and people. You can feel it in every interaction and taste it in every bite. Whether it’s your first time in or you’re a regular, he makes sure you’re treated like family. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine energy in the Vegas food scene, and it makes a huge difference.
⸻
💰 Prices
And the prices? Unbeatable. For the quality, portion sizes, and flavor, you’re getting way more than what you pay for. Lucino’s feels like the kind of place that could charge way more, but doesn’t — because it’s about community, not gouging.
⸻
✅ Final Word
Lucino’s Pizza is the kind of place you almost want to keep secret… but it deserves the love. Whether you’re rolling in for a cheesesteak, getting adventurous with a chicken parm egg roll, or crushing some wings with friends, you’re in for something way above average.
Do yourself a favor: get to Lucino’s, say what’s up to Joey, and come hungry. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your...
Read moreI was literally a customer with these ppl every week. So one day Im at the pool, and we decided to order from them. They are literally right across the street from where I live. We ordered Meatballs, a caesar salad and 2 orders of wings w sauce on them crispy. I ordered the food myself and asked the person for the total of the order b4 hanging up, she told me it was 27 bucks. Once my bf arrives back with the food he says that they gave us some weird desert that was all bread and chocolate and cream - he was not sure if I called back and ordered that I told him I didnt. So attempt to eat our food - These ppl gave NOT 1 NAPKIN, NO SILVERWARE, nothing. I used my sweater I brought w me to the pool to wipe my hands because we had nothing. In addition the wings were soggy. Not to mention they charged me 40 bucks. So I decide to call, some lady gets on the phone being rude, tells me NO ONE requested napkins or Silverware. Was simply rude as all get out and then the lady has the nerve to hang up in my face. I call back someone tells me oh thats one of the owners would you like to speak to someone else. I tell her no just please adjust the price on my card because you charge me too much.
I tried to call these ppl again to discuss the overcharge bcuz of course there was no adjustment. Someone answers says hold on never comes back to phone. I call back once again on a later date. Trying to do the right thing and not take the matter to my bank. A guy now gets on the phone - he literally accuses me of YELLING at his MOM, like huh? I was rude, yelling at his mother and than he's mad talking about yeah I remember you exactly because you called back and said the wings were soggy... LOL like um sir I think I know if wings are soggy or not. He than proceeds to tell me again that NO ONE requested napkins etc - You own a whole restaurant and a person has to request if they are not gonna eat a salad with their fingers?? - got it! So I continue to tell him like hey I don't even care about all that Im simply settling up the fact you guys overcharged me. He says he would have to review the receipt and THAT IT IS AT HOME. But I should just take it up with my bank this that and the third. Im sorry but SOME PEOPLE JUST SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. This is NOT how you treat customers literally I was a regular and these people were beyond rude. I feel this is how you don't grow in business. You running a whole restaurant give people forks and napkins geez man. We eat out tons of places all over the US this is low level really & if a customer fails to ask for a napkin or fork you are just out of luck. The Audacity man.... Proof of their response to another customer how ridiculously rude these...
Read moreUpdate: We were customers here for years. We live further away so it isn't as easy to come in, but today I made an effort to stop in because I was excited the Eagles made the superbowl. Joey said would take 45 minutes for a slice! Basically the way I was shown how unimportant customers are is why my family will never be back. Your response makes it sound like I am just impatient, but the point is that you said the words "this huge order is spending a lot more money than a slice." You said those words. I get that business is about making money, but making it only about how much money someone makes and belittling the fact that I was by myself and simply wanted a slice is what was the slap in the face. How was it my fault that I happened to show up the day you have some large order? You made it seem like I did something wrong to expect to order pizza from a pizza place.
Also, I don't even know what medium pizza special you are talking about. I've used you to bulk order large orders for parties - which, if you remember was LATE and the order messed up, which you did correct. I didn't leave a negative review for that, but today what you said seriously made it seem like because I wasn't there to spend a ton of money, I didn't matter. I made a trip specifically to see you guys, simply because the Eagles winning made me think of you the other day. Again, you bringing up some $7.99 special that I don't even know about, is like you're insinuating that I'm some cheap customer, proving that you only care about money, not customer experience. I don't live anyway near your place and doubt I ever ordered whatever $7.99 special you're talking about. I was there today for lunch, not feeding a large group. That's okay. I understand how you feel about us. I'm sorry I didn't realize it before. I might eventually delete this whole review, because yes I am currently really frustrated at what happened. Not just about the stupid pizza, but again, I made a special trip out there just to visit you guys and was excited to be there again, and yes I agree that I still don't understand how you couldn't quickly throw a slice or a small pizza in. That's why it seems like if you have large orders, you might as well close down. Because anyone with a smaller order seemed to be blown off. Go Eagles! but lucino’s really...
