Tommy Rocker's Mojave Beach Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Nevada

we sat down to eat at 4:30 a.m and we ordered 2 diet cokes, hot wings, nachos, and a cheeseburger in paradise. Our receipt from the waitress said 5:35 a.m the total was 68.15 and there was over 13.00 in gratuity automatically added to our check. When we asked the waitress she said that happened after midnight. We questioned this because when we came in December compared to today January 18th the waitress didn't do this and we tipped her well and everything was fine. But today the waitress said gratuity is automatically charged after midnight no Matter what. The receipt said only parties of 6 or more would have auto gratuities. This didn't make sense considering it wasn't posted anywhere on the menu, building, or receipt. We asked for a manager and spoke to the manager Ken who explained that this is done from 12 a.m to 8 a.m so the waitresses make money. I explained that we would still tip so the waitress would make money and he said that is not the point. He said we do that because other customers don't tip. My husband and I continued to ask for a reason or explanation when the manager Ken got frustrated and said I'll just remove it. This is only our second time here and as locals we will not be coming back we enjoyed it so much our first time but this second time has been terrible. The televisions to watch the game were much smaller than I thought they would be. Maybe 80", which made watching harder from the distance in the middle high tables, plus if you're sitting in the booths in the middle it's hard to see over the people on the stools to see the 1 tv on the right and if you are in the both under that tv, it's pretty far to see the 2TVs on the other side. I enjoyed the atmosphere and would love to go back, but for hockey I'd love to see 1 large screen on each wall, maybe they could use these small ones as corner extras so people don't have to spin their head around to watch. The stool tables by the restrooms entrance were closer to the 📺s. I liked the backroom that was closed, it had couches, it's own bar and the TV was close. The other side as well. Nice party spot. 🥳 Food was good, I don't normally like restaurant nachos, but these had spicy cheese sauce on under chips and shredded cheddar on top, fresh jalapeños, dice tomato, sour cream sauce(wasnt enough at all, made the nachos a little dry on the top(the cz sauce was on the bottom chips) I ordered guacamole and extra sour cream. It all worked out, just a bit pricey for the add ons. Nachos(enough for 2), side guacamole, side sour cream, side of extra cheese sauce and a rootbeer. $28 including tax, with all the add-ons, was it a good deal?🤷‍♀️Was it a good...

I had never been to a bar in Vegas where I felt more at home. The bartender on duty, Ken, clearly has tons of experience and runs a great bar considering the late hours and no security he does a top notch job at both. My Server, Billie, was a beautiful, always smiling no matter how the belligerent and sometimes extremely pushy and rude they were to her! She is clearly an amazing, hard working, someone who truly caters about her hat she does and her she does it….. I never once saw her on her phone bc she was always checking to make sure the food came out as soon as it was ready!!!!I I was truly impressed with her work ethic especially after finding out she was on her second straight shift ( a double) her energy is like nothing I’ve ever seen before and I was I’ll be coming there daily the day she makes bartender because she is absolutely stunning and has a truly addictive, always want to be around personality!! Kens drinks were Impeccable, the late night food was 10/10 and I highly recommend this Bar to all of my family and friends looking for late night fun...
