After running a marathon, the next day my body was consumed in pain and I could barely get out of bed. Perusing the Yelp app, I found that the closest massage place to my apartment is A Touch of Las Vegas Day Spa. Located in the shopping center right next to the Panorama Towers, there's ample of parking and the place is easy to spot while you're driving. The interior of this place is just a typical Las Vegas massage place so there isn't much to rave about. On the other hand, since I'm here for a massage and not to enjoy the environment, I will stick with commenting on the actual service offered and let me tell you it was AH-MAY-ZING!
My massage therapist that day was Johann. He started out a little hard but when he asked how the pressure was, I asked for it to be lighter. From that moment on, I felt so relaxed and the aching started to just drift away. Not all massage therapists know how to hit the good spots on your body but Johann did a great job at covering many of them. He was also very professional and I could not have asked for a better massage that day.
If you come to this place, ask for him. Don't hesitate and make sure to tell him up front how you want your massage to be. You won't be...
Read moreIt was alright. My mom booked me a deep tissue massage there as a gift. I switched to the signature massage just to see what it was about. My massage therapist asked if it was my first time there, I said yes, and she goes, “you wanted 90 minute massage, right?” Not knowing what my mom booked I just said yes. I know I could have easily looked into it.
The massage itself was okay. I wish I kept the deep tissue. However, It was very relaxing. Afterwards the massage therapist apologized and said she gave me a 90 minute massage when I originally booked a 60 minute massage. So when I check out I had to pay an extra $100 on top of the $85 I thought I was going to pay. Had I known that, I would have opted for a 60 minute deep tissue. Yes, I’m aware I could have been more proactive about what was booked for me. But it did feel like I paid an extra $100 for some person to rub lotion on my back. I’m also curious if that message therapist does that to...
Read moreAmazing experience! Don’t let the strip mall location put you off. The first thing you notice upon entering is how clean everything is. That continues to the massage rooms themselves. You can tell that the tables, sheets, pillows, etc are all freshly cleaned and laundered, making for a very comfortable and sanitary experience. The massages themselves are amazing. We had a group of 3 and each of us felt beyond refreshed after our session. Even more importantly, we felt that each of our masseuses customized the experience to our individual needs. One in our party had just run a marathon and his masseuse added a stretching component to his massage. Another in our party had prior neck issues, and she was assigned a masseuse who was also an RN. The front desk staff was also very accommodating and friendly in helping us with last minute changes to our appointment. Definitely will be back next time we...
